• The Metropole! Oh and the old toll house on the lower road

• The bog behind the Cinema In Guildhall street
• the lookout tower?? an odd looking structure near the seacat port
• I thinl it woulb be either The Grand Or The Metropoll becuse they are so beatifull.

• Boat hut Hythe Canal
• Not many are nice.
• Harvey Grammar School - fond memories of lessons full of information, and break times full of education.
• Sheds
• Le Shuttle Duty Free shops and Channel Tunnel
• Duo's brothel in Risborough lane!we used to love banging on the door and running off! (actually that was last week!)
• The house on Cheriton near bathhurst road with the tennis court
• The Ship Inn Sandgate
• Martello towers(one open on the east cliff)
• Vic has been spotted in Bar Vasa and other pubs and bars.
• Anywhere on The Bayle The Rotunda (it may be tacky, but it has history)
• The Sports centre, but only really because I spent half of my life there - school, sport, work, leisure, 'The Sportsmans Bar', that dark, intimate spot at the back of the squash courts on a Saturday night when they held the roller disco
• Parish Church, just off The Bail
• Europa House

• Rotunda!!!!!!!!!Both of them!
• SAGA, The Burstin, Club Indigo and The BEach, Cheriton (Generally) Hollywell, Linksway, Dallas Brett, Foord Road, Pikeyville, Golden Valey (there is nothing golden about it), and finally the amuesment park (always a good laugh - as long as you have comprehensive life insurance)
• THOSE BLOODY FLATS OPPOSITE ROTUNDA!
• Saga building - why did they make it brown? It looks disgusting.
• No 1 the Leas and put a building that looks out to see rather than a brick wall

• La Priz. You go back there after a few months and it is the same music and same rough birds, the only difference is that the drinks prices have gone up again!
• The entire Channel Tunnel site and all the shit that goes with it.
• oh, so many. how about the bus station? the old classic - the middle of town sainsbury's. die!!

• The Harvey GS - run by stuffy twats who should be shot
• The Folkestone school for Girls
• Harvey Grammar Schoo, for Boys (cause then we'd have to join with the girls school)
• Saga offices in town (sat empty for 10 years ofter they were built)

• Channel High School
• The Hotel Burstin - meant to look like a ship but never completed. With a bit of luck the demolishing process might take a few of the Old Croney Tourist Brigade with it!
• Virtually the rest of Folkestone!
• Shepway District Council offices.

The Best Things

• The decay of a better time! A historicaly social anthropologists hay day.
• THe motorway out of town At least all the winos and pikeys are trapped in one town Scraps outside La Parisinne with out of shape doormen
• Shepway Airshow
• The shingle beach
• Guilhams cheap meat on Saturday after 1 o'clock
• cheap beer & fags
• Proximity to all of Europe via the channel tunnel. No one has an excuse now not to go abroad. Cheap tickets are available to most european dstinations...we have been to many of them via the tunnel. TRY IT.
• town spirit!
• Molly hair. Pie. Blue. Rum baa baa RAM-A-SEASE ladies who touch each other
• Links to France via Le Shuttle
• Sitting on the beach in the summer evenings getting drunk with your mates
• The sea and the hills.
• Getting so drunk you forget thet you are in Folkestone
• The Leas - A lovely place to walk in summer St Mary's Parish Church - facinating history Kingsnorth Gardens - a beautiful place to sit Radnor Park - a great place to relax and take the kids
• seaside ( even if you have to swim with your mouth closed!!!) and countryside.
• Our girls are lovely - and the proof: Vivien Dibble (winner of the Miss Folkestone & Miss Cheriton titles) this year alone won Miss Essex was a runner-up in the Kent Carnival Queen contest, and was fourth in the National Carnival Queen contest. Michelle Jenkins (Cheriton Princess two years running) has in the past two weeks been 1st and 2nd in Princess contests competing against girls from across the south-east. Louise Flisher (Michelle's fellow Princess] was placed first along with Michelle at Pitsea and Vange. Carly Cribben (winner of the Miss Folkestone title) was also a runner-up in the Kent Carnival Court contest this year. So who says our girls aren't pretty?!
• Summers
• The sea, the hills (aah Crete Road West and my mis-spent youth - ditto Lower Sandgate Road)
• The sea, the hills and the motorway out.
• The way the Social Security, Council and court are all next to each other. Also the west end of town, where all the nice houses are.

The Worst Things

• The worst thing about Folkestone is that all the saddo's that slag it off are sadly still there!!!!! Now who hasn't got a life
• Grammar school.
• waking up every day trapped here ---- AAAArrrrrrrrhhh!
• FUCKIN RUDE BOYS ON TONTINE STREET OUTSIDE THE AMUSEMENTS.
• Parking.
• The rubbish strewn shingle beach during and after the dsunday market who is responsible because the council workers dont go down on the beach to clean it
• the council offices
• immigrants, squaddies, drug addicts, inbred freaks, street drunks and thugs
• There are so many derelict houses and rough areas. The houses along the seafront by the Rotunda used to be so lovely but now knowone lives in them and they are a mess. More money needs to be but into re-makeing Folkestone!!!
• Everything!
• The sea i think it is all polluted and it is disgusting. All the homeless people on the street. Criminals think it is good goign round breaking into cars, smashing windows,mugging old people,burgerling houses etc.....
• No nice men WHAT SO EVER!
• Seagull squarking and thier crap!
• gays
• Folkestone rude boys, little kids who drink white lightening and smash up cars and break telephone boxes,they r so hard!
• The boring shops in the town centre
• 12-17year old townies on friday+saturday nights
• lack of good pubs.
• Cliquey Grammar School girls
• The Folkestone Herald Newspaper...written by idiots for idiots
• Waking up sober in the morning and realising you are in Folkestone.
• youth/yobs who think they are hard but crawl under the nearest stone when confronted by anyone. They like to intimidate people mainly women and the elderly and the police do bugger all about it
• Winters
• That bloody great tunnel and its eyesore of a terminal which now spoils the view from the hills
• Living there in winter
• Drunks, drop outs who hand around the main shopping area. Harbour area very run down also violent late at night
• No nice girls.
