Hookup Spots
- If you're a chav, outside Tesco on the High Street; if you're an emo, cathedral green.
- if your emo and/or punk..or attempting it and are 13 or younger then i'd say tesco metro's on the high street.
- Cathedral Green
- outside the flowerpot. Me and my mates sit in the park opposite by the trampoline.
- just hanging out by the river
- without a doubt rougemont and northenhay gardens...the goth kids sit around drinking cheap weird sounding wine and the rude boiz swagger about dealing frm their 100-pocket ski jackets..
- The canal:down by the station canal one side river the other, proper chill out place.
- DEFINETELY rougemont and northanhay gardens. full of 'goffics' but they rnt 2 bad and bond pretty well with the tramps. in the summer its a nice place to sit and drink (which is why the kids love it) cathedral green is nice in summer 2.
- Rougemont's good 'cos free of townies (who SHOULD die), but also full of little private schoolboys and girls when they're not wrecking newquay (and from my own observation Sennen) in the summer break.
- Heavitree Park - that lovely smell of burning plastic. Ugh.
- Rougemont gardens is the only place to go, there is no equal
- Outside Boots, me and Colin "Tots" Todderdell otherwise known as the likely lads. Of course, the wall has gone now, but I can remember many a sunny afternoon dreaming about losing virginity etc, and leering suggestively at girlikins! Colin lost his cherry first, and I came a poor second.
- Contrary to popular belief, Exeter has been much improved recently, and you will no longer find scary beggars hanging around Exeter Cathedral Gren - the whole area is now an alcohol free zone too, so suitable for all.
Kill all the townies? They are what make Exeter the great place it is!!!
Must have been written by a plymothian.
Under Exe Bridge is a haven for the tramps, but they're out of the way, and don't cause any trouble. Don't want to see them? Then don't go out of your way to get under Exe Bridge!!! (please note- this is nowhere near the lovely Quay area.)
The lads shot oi, oi! the girls love it, and do it back- part of a devonshire town's attitude - sorry if you don't like it!
- under exe bridges, bottle of cider, yes please
- gotta be the cathedral green in summer, nice atmosphere, shame about the scary beggars
- Tesco in high street. Pissed up ben sherman wearing tossers, with too much shit aftershave and a peanut shaped head, shouting OI OI to anything with tits. It makes me feel sick. Kill all the townies.
- The bench on the north side of the Iron Bridge. Nice place to chill and watch the falcons...
- Exeter Central Station
- anywhere on the street outside the tobaconists and Miss Selfridge...mini skaters in particular
- In Exeter any bus stop will do! Kids with litre of cider and cheap fags are easy to find! see also under bridges on Exe - very popular (but cold)
- Outside C&A is the regular meeting place for people on a Saturday night!! the bus stops there and its central to all the pubs!! Oi oi!!
- Quay carpark (good flatland for bmx street).
- Barclays, High Street (mainly street). Wednesday night at Barclays. Barclays Square, evenings, Sundays.
- outside Cost-Cutters near Central Station

What is Knowhere?
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
