• Bicclescombe Park is the best place. You should be aware, plenty of under-teens drinking cheap cider and foreign students reside and cause mayhem here too!
• Try SeaV's, 6 St James Place, Ilfracombe - it is a seafood, fish & vegetarian restaurant with excellent food at a modest price and lots of good wines, beers & ciders. Very laid-back. When the weather is good you can sit outside under huge umbrellas otherwise inside with good music. The staff are really friendly and the place welcomes kids but gets them out of the way by 8.00pm by offering parents a special earlybird discount of 20 per cent when you order between 5.00pm-7.00pm.Altogether the kind of place that Ilfracombe needs. In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
