there is a second hand shop on the high st.They sell music things,They had a harmonica one time,
And again. Barnstaple has 'Soundpad' which has won awards for being the best music tech shop or something. The shops not huge but they have the full works.
The Captains Cabin sells Guitars, Violins, Strings, Microphones etc,.
Couple of good stockists in Barnstaple including The Sound Pad which has decent range of guitars, amps, drum kits etc..

The Aerial on outskirts of Ilfracombe has practise rooms and can record.
The Ariel - Mullacott, just outside Ilfracombe. Excellent facilities - about 5 rehearsal rooms, full equipment hire at low cost, recording studios - do yer own CD at reasonable rates - ring Lee - 07968 752 403. Lee also sorts out gigs for bands that practice there.
Ariel Music Centre at Mullacott. Pretty good facilities for recording and rehearsal. Reasonable rates.
There is a local council owned centre called the Ariel which is staffed by volunteers and offers rehearsal rooms and recording facilities to local bands at low cost. It is sited around 1 1/2 miles from Ilfracombe town centre.
