• The places on the outskirts of Ilf are generally nice/trendy/intelligent/lively/peaceful. Go to one of them.
• Charlotte Pinkney Sculpture, WHY does she deserve 1 ? Why not Claire McVey ? Why not put the money towards A Drug rehab, Missing Persons, Victims of Crimes, etc, or sumfin like that, FAR MORE deserving. Why dont they hipnotise da "murderer", to find out what happend ?
• Watch out 4 Craig Skyner.Hes a charmer and gorgeous looking when u 1st meet him but then he turns out to be a total male slag!poison!
• Overheard in a pub on 11/9/2001 .... my God! This will be the talk of the town in Ilfracombe a couple of weeks from now!
• There are somr great gift shops in Ilf, such as Hollies, Rostrons, & Woodens, to name three.
• If you see Ben Smith ask him to regale you with tales of school. They are actually funny, and not the usual mediocre crap people churn about their 'mad school'. But he lives in Holland now so you wont.
• Your local bird man (Neil)and his mates..birds of course of the feathered kind.
• Some nice shops and nice people
• Far too boring, quiet and dull at times, espesially in the winter
• The best gift shops I know

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
