Inside Information

  • The Best pub in Brackley area is Freehouse at Hinton in the Hedges the Crewe Arms, which is a reconised freehouse featured in the CAMRA good beer guide, and a pub of the season nominee.specialise in local real ale from Hoggleys of Litchborough.
  • Dead Man's Island before they built the by-pass over it.
  • friday nights '7 @ the meth'
  • The plough
  • A mates house is prob the best place to go as everywhere else in Brackley sux ass! the best pub is prob the plough / Red lion. both on the high street. If you like small girls then the Recreation Centre is the place to be! If you like doing drugs then go to the industrial estate on Buckingham Rd. obviously after hours. And watch out for the Feds! don't do drugs in layby's as the pigs are always lookin for some "free gear"
  • Has to be the main park in town.
  • Being old enough to go into pubs I have notice a tendency for 'Little girl' hanging around the Bus stop opposite Morgans. Seems a cool place to sit all nite, a bus stop. Then again what else is there to do in Brackley if you are under 18.
  • the primary school field, because sitting in a field while getting drunk just seems so fun to people around the age of 13/14, don't ask why! Tescos for some reason is also very popular to sit outside of, again, don't ask me why!
  • *out side one-stop newsagent near springfield surgery - a place for all those under-age to go and 'try' to buy fags and alcohol *the towns main park where all these underaged can go and smoke and drink with out getting interupted *market place friday nights, pub closing time, good meeting spot.
  • the bridge down by the mill in Whitfield - it's a great place to drop sticks into the stream then run over the other side of the bridge to watch them pass underneath
  • The park at the top of town, the market place

What is Knowhere?

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!

If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.

Have Your Say...

The Knowhere Guide depends entirely on real users for information. Please feel free to join in.

You can tell us more about Brackley. This is also the method to use if you want to correct some of the information already here. (But please remember you're not mailing the person who actually wrote whatever-it-is.)

You can use the add an event form to tell us about events happening in Brackley.

If you are unhappy with any of the content on this page, turn on the flags.

Or, if you'd just like to leave a message for other users of this site, take a look at The Knowhere Board (handy if you're just trying to get in touch with someone).
