I Recomend The GREYHOUND PUB
D. Cordone
(Newcastle)
CJ's Diner
Pubs
The New Locomotive, 43 Bridge Street. Has live music once or twice a month. Serves good food at excellent prices. Darts on Thursdays and Pool on Sunday and Mondays.
Red Lion's the best, with a great landlord (Nigel). Charles Wells beers + Red Stripe lager, great value food, some good rock bands, and a practical function/meeting room out the back
the bell for mum and dad, plough for the youth
The GREYHOUND PUB alas is a pub no more (it is now more like a wine bar)
when Dave & Lin owned it they sold the best REAL ALES in the UK about 8 different ones every week. Now I have to leave Brackley to get a good pint.
Stratton Arms in Turweston is a good destination pub for a Sunday walk.
OH NO!!!!
They've gone and done. Just when I find a fantastic pub, (The Greyhound) with fantastic real ale, the landlord retires.
Now it's just like all the rest. Barstaff can't smile, even the customers don't seem so friendly now.
Lets start a petition to get our Dave & his wife back.
THE END
your hosts Lin & Dave Have sold the Greyhound Pub after about 29 years
Brackley will never be the same no wild parties (oh no!!! WORSE no great real ale)heard it said new owners are turning it into a TEAROOM. Should be a law against it.

Morgans!! Is not filled with those young and underaged. I repeat it is quite often filled with oldies mainly from Rugby Club. So don't diss it till u have come down on a Thursday nite. Cheap drink, good company!!
What can I say about the greyhound??? there are many stories of strange 'parties' and if your mum and dad drink there I would be very worried.
well, ther's some where you are overage if you are 19, i.e one nearest the school i wonder if you can guess which?! then there's another in the centre of the town that regurlarly burns down so watch out if you go there!
THE GREYHOUND: The best pub in Brackley by far! The best selection of Real Ales! The beer is always perfect and seved by friendly Landlords Lin & Dave! DO NOT miss this pub - a member of CAMRA - Food is always good at realistic prices!
The Manor - Public House, Brackley, Northants. 52 Manor Road. Lively pub off the beaten path. Featured cask ales, pool, juke box, beer garden. Caters to locals and visitors alike - come on in and have a laugh! Friendly bar staff and lovely landlords - Kate and Tony.
red lion, the crown, oasis, the fox, the loco, etc etc-i think there are around 10 in all, cant remember all there names, dosent really matter when your drunk

If you want POOL then go upstairs at the Greyhound at the top end of town on the high street. Two good pool tables await you and plenty of room to get those swerve shots in!!
Try THE PLOUGH on the high street. On a saturday night DJ Andy (I think thats his name) plays an uplifting mix of trance (I've been to HOME in Leicester square and he compares well to the best!). I only wish more people in the 'Brackley Bubble' would dance to him - IT'S SATURDAY!
Morgans the place to go to feel if you feel like reverting back to your youth!!!
There are many pubs in Brackley despite its small size - but to me that says something about the type of people who stay incased in the Brackley
