Musical Instrument Shops and DJ Gear
Lynn Music in Norfolk Street. Speak to Chris he's a really helpful guy and if they haven't got what you're looking for, he'll make every effort to get it for you.
I think East Coast Music, Guitar Crazy and Lynn music are the only places to go...
theres eastcost music home to every instrument u can think of, has drum compartment upstairs and loads of guitar stuff downstairs. Theres guitar crazy for all ya guitar needs and lynn music sells a few things like guitars, keyboards etc.
East Coast Music! Where Savages used to be but better than savages! I've spent most of what feels like my life in there cos there's loads of guitars so i've never got bored!
LYNN MUSIC, SAVAGES
East coast music. john savage is back upstairs. go and say hello to one of the best in the business.
You lot have all forgotten GUITAR CRAZY!!! Cheapest prices in town and these guys are all pro players, its opposite flames in norfolk street.
East coast music are on average about £100 more per guitar than these guys!!!!
, it is now running as john savages again!!! with the old guys from the savages shop selling gear again result!!!
Good ol' East Coast Music has sprung up in the ashes of Savages. Always handy to waste a hour or two trying to persuade Glenn to let you play on his new Hofner bass. I've spent countless free periods in there....maybe that's why i have crap grades!?
You have John Savages, used to be a big shop, it seems to have downsized recently and is selling just drums. Then you have East Coast Music and Lynn Music, always a bit more friendly to casual musicians, and for stuff other than guitars and drums
Lynn music. thats about it
As lead singer/guitarist for Riverhouse I can confidently say there's only 1 music equipment shop - Wisbech Music Centre far superior range of guitars and equipment and definitely the lowest prices.
we did have one, it has now gone, and anouther one is coming. ah the change!
John Savages is closing, a piece of Kings Lynn history is coming to an end.
The small music shop down Norfolk street is good for all kinds of instruments - even pianos.
SAVAGES AT THE VERY TOP OF NORFOLK STREET
if youre looking for a drum kit go to john savages.
Savages is more guitar to Lynn Music's organs and piano's. Go to Lynn Music though, Dave Lilleys not a bad bloke.
John savages is by far the best musical instrument shop in West Norfolk. It was one of the first shops in the UK to sell the awesome new Mavericks. With celebrity customers featuring Iron Maiden members, Jools Holland, etc.
umm i cant remember but there is one down norfolk street the 24 hour garage end
john savages! are there anymore?
they never seem to have guage 10 strings.
john savages, lynn music, hmm
Savages is good probably
kl music (lots of major organs for sale!!)
john savage (been there since i was born) top instruments
Sex shop (Norfolk street) for all other needs
Lynn music and savages and that is the extent of it!
Ye good olde Lynn music - Norfolk street - specialises in selling one of every musical instrument. (one every 10 years that is!!)
Lynn Music, when I've needed them they've been OK apart from the dogey keyboard, music programes and no music book after 2 months!!!!!
Recording Studios, Rehearsal Rooms, PA Hire
Ivory Tower Recording Studio in North Lynn estate is run by "mad" Simon. Got some great recording gear and is clued up for getting the right sound for a band. Try him on 07725531697
UM i really dont know i think you can go in east cost but other than that no idea
There's some good ones open at the college that my mate is helping to run and what he tells me down the pub they're damn good and cheap too! The only other one is off near wisbech!
LYNN MUSIC, SAVAGES i think.
a band refurses in the hall (reffley community) sometimes, we dont know much about them, and they dont look like there having fun
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide.
