• Old coalbrookdale iron foundry, now a musuem. The Ironbridge aint bad either. In their own way the blue glass boxes in the centre are quite interesting, but once your there it is VERY boring (not like the metropalis you might imagine
• The Blue/mirror Office Blocks in Town centre should show what a busting busy place Telford is... but at night the middle is dead, dead,dead! Still they look cool

• the magistrate courts, and beatties multi storey car park
• the new beatties dead posh especially the loo`s ( bet they don`t stay like that thou)
• gotta be st georges church...and the ex. scoot offices

• The Plaza, it has a certain look to it!
• The telford plaza is huge, and pretty spanking.
• that new council office thingy up by Thomas Telford School... very new... and probably very expensive!
• Plaza (new) (which is also the scoot building, some of my fellow Telfordians are so thick) Buildwas Abbey (Very Old) Thomas Telford School(Best Looking School Ever)

• The Raquet Centre or as it is now called the Telford International Centre. Get down there for the Aerobics Sessions to watch thoese tight little asses and Big Fat Shitter in tight gear.

Demolish It Now Building

• Any left over un-improved 1970's community centres! They do NOT make you feel part of any community you'd want to be in! BUT they must be replaced with good places to hang around and do things in.
• Please nuke this town NOw!!
• Lumley hall, Madeley. It's a Dump.

• cinema cuz loadsa ppl had ideas of what theyd build in its place... a massive arena 4 rock gigs, skate park, etc.

• All houses on woodside, Brookside etc... with the residents in them
• I suppose Malinslee House (Civic Offices) would be the natural choice, prefab 70's concrete job on the town centre ring road. Needs replacing with something a bit more prestigious...

• Demolish the whole of Telford cos it suxs... if u can't do that demolish TCAT, New College and Athena coz they bring the atmosphere right down *~Jinky~*

• Being in Telford for so long gives me the displeasure of knowing what needs to be demolished and in my opinion the only thing (building) that i can think can be demolished in Telford is the Central Train Station building, it's tiny, there's not much to look at or do whilst waiting for a train so please get rid of it!

• The new multi-storey carpark in the town centre, most of Dawley, Tomas Telford school (although thats largely for political reasons as it should never have been built).
• Wrekin councils Malinsgate House, although I understand this is going to happen soon The Ironbridge Power Station is a huge blot on the landscape of the historic area.

• KNIGHTS NIGHT CLUB!!! and all dodgy bouncers with no qualifications apart from excess flab!

The Best Things

• Its growing, new people, should get better (unlike places getting run down cos industry has left them behind)
• Lots of green and trees, easy to get around, once you know the round-abouts! It does feel like it is going somewhere and changing, i think it will be loads better in ten years time
• The parks/open spaces that lie adjacent to some of the 'newer' housing estates.
• * Ironbridge Gorge, especially around the Coalport area- lovely. Also the wonderful museums.
• town centre... but only the M&S side coz the other side (JJB + town park) is where the kappa slappas hang out
• air conditioned shopping mall with kids play areas everywhere
• SK8mental !
• The good thing bout telford is tht they hav a really good shoppin centree and alot of things featured around it e.g ice rink, cinema, bowling alley.
• 2 hours from wales, m54 90 mph from telford, buses run every 10 mins well usually! and everything is here for you
• The flats in Ketley used to house some Rastas that sold decent weed
• the free bus from our campus to get out of here

• 1, Knowing you can leave if you want to 2, Feeling very attractive compared to the townie slappers who roam the streets 3, Public transport is good
• Telford is a top town with bags of potential, it pisses me off to see the place slagged off on here by residents who really should know better. I mean, would you rather live in Shrewsbury? ha!

• One of the best things going for Telford at this point in time is that there is going to be a massive Bonfire and Fireworks spectacular. Since i've been in Telford (which is all my life) my family and I have always been to all the fireworks displays that go on in Donnington, it really is the highlight of a boring year, unless you're counting on winning the lottery, and even if you do you'll probably be mugged, so don't bother!
• Ironbridge, even though it's not really telford, due to it being old and all.
• just wait till ur 17 and get a job..... then all u can hope to do is get driving with one of the hundred driving instructors and pass then u can get out as soon as possible!!!!!!! oh yeah and the 'Kappa Slapper' epidemic has been controlled and they are now called 'Telford Jippos'!!!... they aren't as bad as the KS's so just stay away from the south of telford (apart from Ironbridge) if u dont want to meet some TJ's!!!!
• M54, fastest way out of the place

• Waving goodbye to the Wrekin as you leave, everyone does it really, they just pretent not to. Ironbridge is also quite nice if you could get rid of the bloody tourists.
• Loads of space, how not everyone knows you like in Shrewsbury or worse Shifnal. The shopping centre, indoor, Air Con'd, could do with a few more independant shops. One minuite you are in a uban industrial city type town, the next minuite you are.
• some country side along side the town
• Quiet & peaceful, easy to use a car
• Car parking is a breeze in the centre
• The Wolverhampton University Campus, Priorslee, Telford - it's the trendiest place to be.
• The women are so easy!!!!!!!!
• The road out and a life of exile
• M54 cos it goes right past Telford and you don't need to go through the place except when some cunt decides to dig the fucking road up and divert the traffic through the bloody place.
• Good motorway access

The Worst Things

• Poorly though out for walking anywhere. The way the Train station is 1/2 muile form the bus station! Why?
• The 1970's estates, which made'Telford'. They are confusing to get in and out of and the houses squashed in. But in patches there is a good 'community' feel, everyone is in the same boat is suppose. Mostly people accept you for what you are- they don't mind were you are from.
• There are no decent shops for people that want to dress alternatively to slappers or chavs! I mean, everywear only does trendy clothing. Where is the variation!? I want to see a bit more variations.
• Dawley.
• * The people. I’ve never lived anywhere including London that is so unfriendly.
• transport is shite... no buses on sunday (the day wen i can never get a lift) also i agree about the roundabouts - way too many
• The ammount of "Trendies". Scum bags who yell abuse at everybody and always try to pick fights.
• all the men and BOYS!!!! who think they are gods gift to women ( you really aren`t!) And why so many mini islands we only drive over them any way!
• nobheads who ride around in fucking novas thikin their soooo baddd, people in priorslee! oh yeah and yobs, especially people thinkin their so bad

• The sheman of a Youth Worker(WHO GAVE HER A JOB!!??) That runs Fusion & gets pissed, sweats like a dont know, shouts & swears at kids at The Music Project, Great example!! Im a bit of a nutter do y think I could get the job!! Get her out the place will BUZZ!!!!
• The scallies (TJs). Absolute scum of the earth, bring the whole town down.
• We couldn't find "WONDERLAND" on your site to find out if it was open today. So we're going somewhere else. Sorry
• Traffic lights, round abouts, dog shit problem. kevins in there novas! slappas starting on u all the time!old people who just cant drive!
• The biggest hole north of the Serengeti!. Do not ever visit unless you have to.

• The telford rude boys. and the kappa slappas. They really don't have a clue that they are really all inbred morons with no brain cells, they think they're so important etc etc... Oh, and the roundabouts. i mean really, more roundabouts per square mile than anywhere else in europe. there is NO NEED TO PUT A ROUNDABOUT ON A T-JUNCTION. (i like the comedy "Please join our photographic society" that has been stuck in this worst bit section. ho ho ho. :))
• the TJ's (Telford Jippos)...... girls, please buy some clothes.... New Look is cheap enough.... buy one thing get one for a £1.... actually thinking about it thats probably where you shop!
• the local bus company, the time tables are the best bit of fiction i have ever read,
• 90% of it's inhabitants have a severe attitude problem, possibly coupled with some sort of mental deficiency. And roundabouts, Telford has more roundabouts than people, and it really isn't helpfull if you get travel sick, this is particularly pointless as half of them don't have any roads going off them.
• even the dogs wont go out alone in telford
• Not enough night life to keep everyone happy, very spead out - need a car, Thick as pig shit bad boys who bring this towns reputation down. SHREWSBURY round the corner always waiting for Telford to prove itself, shrewsbury has had a 1000 years to prove itself, Telford is a mere 3 years old - give it a chance man.
• the telford town centre island, the scutty little kids that gob off and trash everything, gobby tarts, nightlife is poo, too many new houses, too many traffic islands(mini islands breed rapidly),

• what the hell has knights night club got to do with telford, knights is in an entirely different county, you webmasters are idiots
• Dull & boring, impossible without a car
• The people who have always lived in the towns which have been absorbed by Telford. They still refuse to aknowledge the prescence of Telford despite the fact it has done nothing but good for the finances and well being of the area. And also Brookside.
• The People Are strange, they all feel they have got something to prove, yet none of them can seem to prove whatever it is!!!
• Brainless morons walking at a snails pace everywhere during daylight hours

• Quite spread out so you need a car as the public transport system is crap
• Complete lack of interesting, individual people with lives.
• Wrekin Arts Photographic Club, meets every Friday night at the Prince`s Street Arts Centre Wellington at 8.00pm. We cater for all aspects of photography new members and visitors are always welcome whether they be new to the hobby or active professionals. There is a comprehensive programme of events, lectures, demonstrations and displays from some of the countries top photographers. The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
