Hook-up Spots (That hallowed spot where everyone hangs around with their mates dreaming of the time when they can get into the pubs or clubs - a bench, a corner: you name it.)
PRESTON, "Moor Nook, Larches, Brookfield, Farindon Park which are practically no-go areas if you're a decent non criminal type person." PRATT! I live on brookfield, don't know any criminals, never had any problems. The media has a lot to answer for.
We all hang out at the memorial next to the Corn Exchange just to chill and usually to skate or if it's raining we go to the market loading bay so you might as well join us!
the memorial square on lune street in the town centre (even tho its shaped as a circle...), its just one big mosher hangout. quite a few of the old avenham/zoo mosher crew are there nowadays, so you've got a good mixture of snobbish, sorri, "experienced" moshers and quite a few annoying mini-moshers gettin the michael taken out of em by the older lot
Me and my friends usually hang around the town centre after 5, no scallies, the place is practically empty, so you can just skate anywhere, (I recommend skating down the emptymarket, out of it, then down the hill to the St. George's Centre, oh shit, wait, I can't remember it's name... oh what the fuck... and if it's open skate through the guild hall, and down the hill type thing from the guild hall to the bus station... there, also
Bus Station Stand 28.
chinese gardens in avenham/moor park. the parks rough as fcuk at night but the chinese gardens are a perfect place for smoking your LEGAL herbal mixes
During the daytime Avenham Park is as god a place as any . right nexz to the river but also 5 mins from the town centre. At night everyone meets at Yates on Church Street.
Winkley Square
The zoo rocks, get ur as* down there, whether your 14 or 24, just one more thing please buy summat!!!! it unfortunately isnt a charity and the people who run it need your help!!!
The Zoo's closed now and most of the hook-up spots are taken by townies - Avenham park is a nice place to get wrecked in summer.
Hurst Grange Park
outside the centre of preston, lostock hall is cool. if u wanna quiet joint go 2 dandy brook or the units or lostock view or the iron bridge or rezi park or the trainy or flag lane or the back of trevs newsagents.
Costa coffee - in the centre of St. Georges center, quite expensive, hence the name 'Costa Bomb' but still cool.
Megabowl and street corners! But some places you're alright if your 15!
Another point in avenham park that has generally been claimed by the moshers is the 'white house' near the river. If ever the zoo is closed, or its too damn hot in there (once in every few millenia) its a cool place to chill out, whether on top of thing trying not to look down, or just having a joint on the bench.
The pavilion on Ashton park is the main spot for townies to be found on a friday night.....
Outside Lucy's Love Shak on Lowthian st
St. Geprges Centre in the daytime: Church Street in the evening.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
