  • Action records pn church street sells everything, and if you dont see it on the shelf, they will get it within the week. They also show bands occasionally. I saw muse the week before thier first album do an acoustic set to about 30 people. we aslo have, hmv, music zone and another although i cant think of its name.
  • Action Records can get you anything
  • ACTION RECORDS - The supplies the creme de la creme of good music. Halfway down chruch street. Black shop with a blue and white sign. HMV - Has the biggest selection of records, on Fishergate. MUSIC ZONE - Is cheeeeeep!
  • Action Records has just about everything
  • Action records, kinda, more DJ, HMV has a good selection, and Music Zone.
  • Action Records (Church Street) if it's still there.
  • Rooster Records in the indoor market and there are various specialists down the sidestreets!
  • Andy's records and rooster records have now closed down. check out music zone for the best prices on most CD's and DVD's (it's opposite mcdonalds on friergate) Action records is the best place for anything a bit obscure.
  • Action is really the best place to go, and they really know their stuff. Head down past the academy and past the church and you'll come to it across the road from barneys piano bar
  • Action Records on Curch Street. If they can't get it then it's not worth gettin!!
  • Action Records, Willy Banjo's, HMV
  • Willie Banjo's - down near the market, excellent place to search for vinyl, plus you can pick up all manner of weird and wonderful stuff there!
  • action records , church street
  • Action is excellent-a chain with no name shop, they know everything about music, and have some cheap second hand cds as well! they also have a dance bit, but I wouldn't know whether thats good or not.
  • Action Records is good and is often one of 5 or 6 shops around the country stocking limited edition stuff. There's also a big HMV and Music Zone for CDs and DVDs.
  • action records
  • Music Zone, Friargate
  • willy banjos. action records/action dance- church st
  • WILLIE BANJOS
  • Action Records on Church Street! Definatly the only place in Preston!
  • Music Zone has a branch on Friargate - great prices ! Action Records - Check the website out!
  • sum shop in st georges centre sells chart cds for £9.99 i think it called replay.
  • music zone - very cheap chart cd's £10.99 or less
  • Small Heavy Metal/Mosher/Eminem type place off Fishergate - past the one-room Barber's.
  • Action records has everything, and is resonably priced, GMTs is best for second hand vinyl and merchandise
  • Action Records remains the discerning ( self pitying anal retents )choice. If its new stuff yer after I would check Music Zone ( 9.99 all new cds ) Good cheap DVDs and books too
  • andys records, a good mate of mine works there so its gotta b said! u can also go in and ask for any song u want 2 be played and they will do it, i thought it was just 4 me cus i was special but apparantly not :-(
  • HMV Tell you what is a cracking little shop though, Townsend Records in Chorley, quite near Preston. Has music for all varieties, progressive house, trance, garage (not too much though), Rap, RnB and has all the newest labels. The little guy at the counter forgot his name (think its Alistair) will work his arse off, to get what u want and knows all the release dates. So if uve got time go there, oh and McDonalds is over the Road !! PS Tokes-For Women and cheese Feel- Good music as for women quality rather than quantity.
  • WILLY BANJO!! Need i say more?
  • Ther is HMV on Church St
  • Action-records, Outbreak, HMV the lot...
  • Obviously HMV (town Centre) but the bestby far for all indie, hip hop and espspecialy for Dance music is Action Resords (www.action-records.co.uk)
  • The legendary Willy Banjo Head Shop
  • Willy Banjo's Records, and they have an in house DJ: Babylee to advise!
  • willy banjo's
  • CRAZY ASS PIPES - BONGS - PAPERS @ WILLY BANJO CHECK IT OUT CAUSE YOU KNOW ITS FUNKY
  • Willy Banjo sell all types of dance, house techno music, as well as a cool range of clubbing clothing. Give it a try!
  • Try Rooster Records (they have the cheapest and most bizarre posters in Preston). They sell all kinds of music.
  • Action Records, Church Street, very good for indie/rock and with a dance/techno addition next door also have a class sale/secondhand section for vinyl & CD.

Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars

  • Squires,Tokyo Jo's,Hush,Browns,Accademy(thursday quid in-quid a drink),Assembley
  • wetherspoons if you like talking 2 crazy old men or you could be more exstream and go 2 new medow st labour club lol the dog & partrige is allrite they play rock and its usaly full of bikers
  • fives is ok for over 25's, tacky joes (don't bother if ure out of nappies) squires is for over 40's and desperate but they do have good nights during the week (student nights etc) browns (if u think you are a gangster)
  • im only in to alternative nights so ill live the dance stuff to someone else as there are far to many. The warehouse is three floors of varying alternative music with floors rotating styles over its open nights. As far as I can remember, its tues, fri, sat. Check website. www.warehousenightclub.co.uk The mill. Live music then club nights. see. www.themill.co.uk
  • The mill has an excellent alt. revival night on a friday in the back room. Lots of britpop and old indie!
  • The Mill. Rock, Punk, Indie, and occaisonally emo. The Mitre, Bar 21 or whatever. They are the music venues.
  • BASE Bar on Friargate just a few doors down from O'Neills. A small pub/club but with loads of character and a great owner! Seriously coooool place to be seen!
  • Ritz, Church St had a great night on wednesday PRIORTY new students night, better than Taky Joes(shit hole)
  • Had a great night in the former Arbellas, Now called RITZ,it as new owners the ones from Browns and Truth i think. Had a total refit with two Mezzenine floors/Balonys in the main club. Watch this club i think it will be large.
  • ZONE AT SIDEWALK IS NOW WELL ESTABLISHED AND WIDELY REGARDED AS PRESTONS NUMBER 1 WEEKLY DANCE NIGHT.SIDEWALK IS ALSO NOW OPEN EVERY SATURDAY WITH SOME OF THE BEST CLUB DJS/MCS/PAS AROUND. 1ST SAT/MTH=MAXIMUM BOUNCE.2ND SAT/MTH = DUSK TILL DAWN. 3RD SAT/MTH = BOUNCED UP MADNESS. 4TH SAT/MTH = ZONE
  • SIDEWALK PRESTONS NEW NIGHTCLUB ON TITHEBARN ST. WED ROCK NIGHT FRIDAY STARTS 20 MAY--ZONE PURE DANCE NIGHT SAT OVER 21s WITH MUSIC 80s-90s AND NOW.
  • Most of preston is rubbish but squires is goodon a monday student night! especially en George is there!!! Get to tok' for the tarts!!!
  • 53 Degree the new SU had great clubnights such as jellybean, Gin 'n' Juice and FEEL!!! check them all out at www.53degrees.net
  • Base bar, Friargate, Preston with Saturday night resident DJ Danny Newbold, playing the most upfront, new funky house as a pre-bar for Green the longest running & only underground house night available in Preston.
  • The only decent club in Preston is either Browns or Cafe Manyanas, Tokes is full of 14 year olds and slappers.
  • The mill...think its on aqueduct street...well its great
  • Tokyo jo's CHEESE!!!!!!!
  • Well, every is townie, and i'm 13, so I don't go to clubs often, zoo was good, then it shut
  • Squires for the cattle market (is actually on the market) been the same club for about 30 years. Raiders off Church St for a more entertaining evening.
  • Tokyo Jo's, Warehouse and 'downstairs' at Cafe Manyana on Fishergate, try Mood or 'upstairs' at Roper Hall.
  • The Warehouse is now open on a friday and saturday and on a tuesday for wheres mavis (the night that used to be in aqua) excellent 'alternative' night out. The mill also does a couple of clubnights
  • The Warehouse of course and Squires. Lok out for local gis on at pubs and the Mill on Aquaduct street. Grest for alternatice stuff.Only the very young go to Tokyos
  • tokyo joes has a cheap nite on thursday's to keep up with Squires £15 entry then free bar all nite £12 if you have a UKCN card Arabellas/Aqualenium is now Ethan Jones posh name still a drugs den, Warehouse may play good music but it is still a pile of crap the bars are ok though
  • Squires night club especially rock night on monday in the quinceys part and cheap too £1 a pint. A very good atmosphere and you can dress how you want.
  • Tokyo Jo's is best avoided unless you have a penchant for Burberry, and tuck your trackie bottoms into your socks! Squires is OK on a Monday night, as long as you walk straight through the cheezy crap room into the alternative one!
  • Aqualenium on church street along with Warehouse are probs the only 2 ones Ive ever bothered visiting. (I think)oh yeah but remember warehouse has several floors with different rock music on each so try them all!! Aqualenium is only really decent on rock night which unless its changed used to be Tuesdays!
  • Just an update, aqualenium has shut, the rock night is now held at storm. Warehouse is excellant, so's roper, so's storm on a tuesday.
  • Greens is alright, AKA Solid, costs £8 to get in though. Manyanas downstairs is alright, Tokes sucks ass. Browns is a big black peoples hang out and often has good hip-hop DJ's. Moods is good if you don't mind chart music, my favorite place. DONT bother going up town at the weekend if you're in a group of young looking people, monday nights maybe but it sucks.
  • www.thesubdub.co.uk (under 18s)
  • In the Preston review, you didnt mention Green, otherly known as solid, its on a sat night with DJ Locky playing 10pm-3am, some of the best funky house i've heard.
  • TOKYO JOE'S!!!!! Its the absolute Dogs b******s. 3 women to every man yeah baby!!!!!
  • Tokyo Joes, Perfect 10, Storm
  • the best club without a doubt is blowin wild, so for all you girls out there looking for some luvvring off other girls get your arse there. The only place to go were the girls will show you a good time. Also thursday night in Storm (know previously as 'Gay Night' - well the place were all the celebs hang out ie Julian Clary, Adele from bb and the famous female footballer, Far Far. Also Roper on a Wed night is tops, cheap drinks ie, volka and red bull a £1 - well you just can't beat that. Also there are a few pretty hot chicks in there so again all those looking for that special someone should pay it a visit.
  • WELL, GOTTA SAY IT! TAKKY JACKS (TOKYO JOES) IS THE ONLY DECENT PLACE TO GO, AND THAT IS SAYIN SOMMAT. HOWEVER, EVERYONE RANTS ON ABOUT HOW CRAP IT IS BUT YOU GO IN AND SEE THOSE PEOPLE ABSOLOUTELY OF THEIR FACES DANCING ABOUT LIKE YOUR DAD AT A SIXTYS DO.
  • the best place to be on a friday night has to be in union square were drinks are cheap, and theres a great friendley environment, they play underground garage and sexy R'n'b tunes, its the perfect place for lad and gyals to get their grove on.
  • By popular demand the regions No 1 reggae sound... *** new monthly reggae session in PRESTON city Centre!!*** The "Mighty" OPERATION SOUND SYSYTEM in session exclusive dubplate selection, Bass & Love every time, all tribes welcome! • browns for the urban vibe. for the little uns storm, opposite the bus station
  • TOKYO JOE'S
  • Got to be Cafe Manyana. Especially on Monday's as DJ Nick C is Rockin'.
  • Brown's is da place to go. All the sassy, sexy people go there! It's R&B at it's best. Barstaff are lovely and so are the DJ's. However it's not open till 2 so it's off to Tokyo Jo's @ closin time. Thursday is the best night out, everyone is out for a laugh. Try and avoid Friday nights in Preston...this is when the TOWNIES are out in force, hence the number of slappers and druggies increase. So get drunk and have fun xXx
  • Storm Nite Club, 79 Tithebarn Street (opposite the bus station) Well worth a trip there. Preston's best kept secret. Open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays Saturdays.
  • c'mon toyks is the best even if you do stick to the floor and on thursdays its 2 4 1 so thats not bad. i wouldnt touch aqualenium with a barge poll
  • Tokyo Joes
  • One place that is a must is feel @ the student union, the best!
  • The clubs in Preston aren't up too much! Taky js if you wana get drunk with the kiddies, and go out feeling really old, Squires if you wana have an old bloke pawwing at ya and feel really young! When is someone gonna take over the derelict building next to the bus station and transform it into a late night ten floor pub? here's hoping!
  • as a regular at squires on a monday night during my college years, the place holds a special place in my heart. when the whole crowd goes back during uni holidays the drinks are still cheap and the music is still the most tuneful in preston on a monday. and hi to the old runshaw crowd, is good, but not quite the same as it was!
  • Never go in warehouse, some crazy girl try ripping me shirt off and whackin me in there after she suddenly went crazy for no reason! Strange folk.
  • Browns in town plays the best music, then just dash across the road to the wellington for cheap drinks!!
  • Warehouse, TJs (so I'm told)
  • suqires on a monday is really good with music 2 suit most tastes, quinceys offering alternative and squires a mix of pop, dance and maybe some r n b and because its student night its quite cheap 4 the drinks. tokyo joes maybe seen as a place for 'young slappers' but on a wednesday it is excellent, garage and r n b on the top dance floor all nite and at only £1.50 a drink-well i was happy!! on a friday and saturday the place is packed solid and way 2 expensive so beware go 2 a cheap place 2 drink b4hand and make sure u go in pissed! preston is a good nite out but u have 2 find a place which suits ur own taste first.
  • Aqualennium... alt. music, lots of strange people, very fun. Consent at the warehouse, fetish nights.
  • Aqualenium on a tuesday. Cheap drinks, good music and scummy (in a good way!) studently company
  • despite having more pubs/bars than it really needs, Preston has an embarrassing shortage of good clubs. Corner Club ( recently opened, used to be No-Nos ) rocks though and the djs know their stuff. Its mostly Indie/Rock stuff though so dont go if dance is your bag . The rest - TJs ( great for trainee humbert humberts on the lookout for teenage lolitas )FEEL at the Uni - highly regarded, gets most name djs. Roper Hall plays stale indie fodder for undemanding studes who think Coldplay represent the future of music. They LOVE the sterophonics ! The rest - unmentionable dreck populated by rank birds and men who resemble baked potatoes. Avoid
  • Roper Hall is the best for music. Though on occasions they do play some pop crap to cater for the younger townier members who have discovered roper. 60s, 70s, 80s, dodgy 90s and modern music you'll find it here. Also, the warehouse, aka. Raiders, has been around for years, and is a proper night club, three completely different floors, packed to the brim, dark and crowded.
  • warehouse is best altenative on fri and sat squires/quinceys best student night on a monday - £1 a pint! avoid blue moon and legends they both come under the catagory of shite holes!
  • the warehouse is class - 3 floors of excellent alternative music on fri+sat
  • It's got to be Tok's! It's corny, it's pure cheese and it's addictive! You always see certain 'regulars' when you go in!! The drinks are majorly overpriced on a saturday nite so go in drunk(it's necessary). oooh fit bar staff too......but girlies get your handbags out coz there is no shortage of sleazy blokes to pinch your arse (hit them once and they'll go away)!
  • Tokyo Jo's, go in, pull, get straight back out fast!!!! Arabella's, druggy shit hole but great on a tuesday for rock night!!!!! Squires, i only just found out they actually had 2 rooms, its fun on a monday student night, and the beer is cheap! Then theres solid, warehouse and club sugar, never been and not really very tempted to go either. Preston is ok 4 clubbing but u gotta be in the right club on the right night- though my fav is BLOWIN WILD!!!!! Its the best place in town! and definatly the most fun! its down church street past max value and down grimshaw street (on the right) if u r ever in preston u have to go!!!
  • Tokes- for the women, the musics cheesy the girls are easy ! (not called Tacky Joes for nowt) Feel- The Dog bollocks - class, this place will be nationwide renowned soon, George is a god ! the guest DJ's kick ass. get there before it gets you. Solid and Sugar - Good garage grooves, beats Tokes but not Feel, unless u like silky sexy tunes to wind to.
  • tokyo jos is alright occassionally but they play some really crap cheesy music, but if your on the pull and like young slappers its the place to go
  • Clubs in Preston are either wicked or crap. its kinda hit and miss. Check out Cafe Manyana for that perfect balance between pub and club!!
  • Toyko Jos, Squires, Aqualenium
  • Preston is cool for a night out there are pubs every where and there will be one that you like. You can either sit around in one of the many pubs have a few drinks and eye up the talent or you can move on to a club and Preston has some great clubs. Once you have passed the bouncers at Tokyo Jo's and believe me they are more then butch your night is perfect. Now alls that you need to do is find a lad and make sure he will buy you drinks all night.
  • Well lets see.... theres Aqualenium, Toyko Jos, Squires.... and the best student club in britain 1999 Feel....Names such as Judge Jules, Graham Park, Dave Seaman, Tilt, Chichane what a night and very cheap £7 for NUS and i think £10 if not... Book on-line from UCLAN (www.uclan.ac.uk) i think
  • Roper Hall went through a phase of being rammed, they still try & do something different alternate Thursdays, in the past they've had Mr Scruff, Mark Rae & The Freestylers down [see Cat in Action Records he'll tell you] but watch out for one offs at The Carribean Club on Kent St.
  • Monday night at squires the students are mad keen
  • Squires nightclub : Is over 21's , great nights on Thursday through to Saturday playing many different types of music depending on the night.Squires also has a very popular Student night on a Monday. For more information see www.squiresnightclub.ic24.net or call 01772 251074
  • The Warehouse offers an alternative to your bad dance clubs. Preston is full of 'towny' clubs, which is great if you like that, but overall the pubs are better than the clubs in town.
  • the warehouse - overpriced but good if you want alternative rock scene Tokyo Jos - crap, student night on a wed, ok if you like that sort of thing 10p a pint on a monday but clashes with squires Squires/Quinceys - two totally different clubs all rolled into one. Monday nights one dance and chart, the other alternative. Drinks quite cheap. Roper hall - good for a laugh if you can't be bothered clubbin' it! the student union was crap last year but good the year befor, hey maybe we're in for another good one.
  • its pretty poor!!
  • UNDER 18 'S @ THE MILL HARDCORE AND DRUM AND BASS
  • Artlab no longer exists (use to be a kick ass hard core rave place) Tokyo Joes is far from good unless hooking up with 15 year olds is your idea of a good time-completely devoid of atmoshere but cheap student nights Squires---cheap student nifgts but dark and scary (lots of goths and rockers)
  • Preston is a pretty crap place for clubs really, the best being Legends near the Preston North End football ground, because being by a football ground, it is easy to score there!
  • Squires:- aimed at over 25's only. That says it all. 70+80s music a speciality in Quinceys( another club inside Squires, where jeans are the norm).Smart dress only inside Squires.
  • Barristers has closed down (about 2 years ago now) Squiers (by the market) runs a great student night on Monday's at £1 a pint.
  • Let's get this straight - FEEL (run by the SU) is amazing, terrific and the best club preston has to offer. Whereas Tokoyo jo's is full of 14 year olds wearing TOPMAN clothes and getting rata**ed!
  • The University SU holds really good club nights every two weeks. Good for a change.
  • Arabellas, cool indie/rock night on a Monday, 70p for ANY drink. Other than that I don't know.
  • Tokyo Jo's, Fishergate, Dance club, smart dress usually. Student night used to be good on a Wednesday.
  • Barristers (formally Byrons), used to be brilliant on a Saturday but I think it went techno or something. Still indie on the student night, on a Tuesday which I am told is good fun.
  • Raiders (the warehouse), off Church Street, always REALLY busy, good music on a Friday and Saturday, choice of three floors: Indie, Rock or Eighties new wave stuff. Good fun if you like playing sardines.

Live Music Venues

  • the venue got sick outside the rehersal rooms once lol
  • all pubs near the university, down friargate

  • MEN arena, saw the Chillis and the Hives there!
  • Manchester's the best for bigger bands. Adelphi (Fylde Road roundabout).
  • The Guild Hall is where most of the bigger bands go to play. Past guests include Shirley Bassey, Elton John and Blondie. A new music venue will be at the new students union building (with around 1,200 seats) which hopes to attract smaller and larger music artists.
  • Check out the mitre tavern for the best local bands nearly every night. slightly out of town (near the skatepark, B&Q sort of area) but well worth the mission. the golden croos is near the guild hall and is like the mitre but dirtier. For any big name bands the mill is the only option.
  • The mill has some pretty big bands on. The local bands (of which there is a heathly scene) play at the 12 bar on church street and the mitre on moor lane. Keep an eye on prestone.co.uk
  • URIDIUM. 6 PIECE CLASSIC & MODERN COVERS ROCK BAND APPEARING SATURDAY 15TH MAY 2004 AT THE GUILD MERCHANT, INGOL,PRESTON. TRADITIONAL PUB,LARGE CAR PARK, ON BUS ROUTE. sorry no cheap ale JUST A GREAT ATMOSPHERE DR ROX 4 PIECE CLASSIC ROCK BAND SAME VENUE 8TH JUNE 2004
  • Again look out for posters usuall yin Action Records. Sometimes there are gis at Blowing Wild on Grinshaw Stree Usually the last Saturday of the month.
  • The Mill Aquaduct St. Preston Excelent Live Music Venue
  • The Mill night club has lots of live bands playing there.
  • Pretty much any pub you can find will have a band at some point, keep your eyes peeled for posters, the're everywhere!!
  • 12 bar on church street has bands on every night for free (except tuesday, when its shut, weirdly) Its meant to be a blues bar, but it has more then half ock and indie bands. Very cheap as well. The mill has bigger bands on.
  • Bar 12's has good music, mainly old blues bands and stuff but it's run by people who are really into their music and I like it. Roper Hall and other bars sometimes have bands on but not very often. The Guild Hall also has some live music, recently The Fun Loving Criminals and Daniel Beddingfield have played there... whoopee.
  • The Fighting Cock, marsh lane,
  • Guild Hall Students Union building, Fylde Road. MEN Arena, Manchester
  • SEE CLUBS AS OPERATION SOUND SYSTEM HITS PRESTON!!!!!
  • the plough, penwortham. the welcome. walton park.
  • The Unicorn just out of town on North Road (next to B&Q!) has live bands every Saturday night (rock), Sunday afternoon (great blues bands) and Sunday night (rock, indie allsorts) plus live jazz on Thursdays and New Band audition night on Tuesdays...all gigs are totally free, great beer, normal prices!
  • UNIVERSITY
  • Since this website was posted, The Lamb and Crossroads Preston's two major music venues have closed down, however there is some light at the end of the tunnel as The Adelphi on North Rd has recently had a change of landlord and is now promoting live music on a regular music. Open mic night on a monday, jazz on a thursday and Blues/Rock on a sat and sun. The pub has a club like atmosphere and John and Bee the landlord and landlady are working really hard to promote the pub with their efforts beginning to bear fruit. Check it out! The 'Old Black Bull' on Friargate is worth checking out on a Sat night if you like Rock music. Both pubs promote real ale and usually have aselection of guest beers available.
  • I don't know how often you seek info. about towns but the Lamb where we played for 15 years is noe student accomadation and the Crossroads was changed to a Burger bar but that has close. The Unicorn has music 5 nights a week if there is anyone out there???? Dropme a line and I'll send more info. Pete
  • no where in preston apart from da guildhall but if you like people like attomic kitten go there.
  • The Adelphi, the Uni Student Union
  • Avenham Park
  • Fuck all - and to think I saw The Pixies in this town once.
  • adelphi was but is now under refurbisment and may not be renewing it's license due to it being too expensive wich would be a real shame. golden cross and fighting cock sometimes have punk / rock bands on. guild hall sometimes gets some decent stuff in.
  • Preston is shit for its music venus the only placse ther are is the Guild Hall
  • the adelphi, the student union, and local pubs. Need to look or get the monthly what's goin' on guide!
  • university lamb pub
  • We now have the Crossroads, just round the corner from the Lamb.
  • The Lamb on Church Street has live music every night and occasionally have famous people playing there. These famous gigs however do involve admission fees.
  • The Unicorn Hotel plays host to the Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann (Irish Trad music society) on the third Friday of every month.
  • The Guild Hall, where bands like Ned's have played. Bigger than the Mill, so gets bigger bands.
  • The Heineken Festival comes here usually in Summer. Always good bands on.
  • Guildhall
  • The Mill, usually good bands on. Goes Rave on Saturdays.
  • The University.

What is Knowhere?

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!

If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.

If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.

Have Your Say...

The Knowhere Guide depends entirely on real users for information. Please feel free to join in.

You can tell us more about Preston. This is also the method to use if you want to correct some of the information already here. (But please remember you're not mailing the person who actually wrote whatever-it-is.)

You can use the add an event form to tell us about events happening in Preston.

Or, if you'd just like to leave a message for other users of this site, take a look at The Knowhere Board (handy if you're just trying to get in touch with someone).
