New computer centre opening up in Burnley somewhere, don't know where exactly as it looks like they are still setting up. It's called Plexus and offers LAN gaming and internet access, has games like counter-strike(yeah)and Bf1942, UT2003 and other stuff, check out http://www.plexusweb.co.uk
If 'games shops' refers to shops that sell computer games, as opposed to shops that sell ancient board games eg snakes and ladders, then I've got lots to tell......I'm just not gonna tell you. No no no I can't, I love games too much. There's only one real games shop in Burnley, which is called Game. It sells everything (games(duh), joypads, walkthroughs etc) for all consoles, from PS2(YAY!!) to Gamecube(Hissss..). I often spend my weekend, well, Saturday in Game, just staring at the PS2 games, wishing I had enough money to add another to my collection(I'm after Tony Hawk's 3 if anyone's offering..).The staff are quite helpful, if you've been stood around then they will ask you if you need any help, but really they are asking if you'll leave if you're not gonna buy anything because you're frightening away the customers.
Electronics Boutique very near to Marks and Spencers and Oddie's.
Some places that sell games on the flea market on Wednesdays.
Budget Games on the indoor market (is it still there?)
Cash Generator second hand shop has a lot from various formats.
MVC sell games too.
Woolworths sell games (crap price).
Wargames like Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 are sold at Benns Toy Shop (don't be discouraged from entering by the little children, big boys toysare upstairs)
Comet next to Halfords sell games.
WOOLWORTHS
Electronic Boutique...nice and affordable.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.
