Inside Information
- My how those entries take me back. I must just say that whether in London (as I was), or in Midhurst, there never was enough for teenagers to do. The wise ones found a healthy hobby such as fishing. Some girls just loved & lived to dance. Boys started playing guitars and building amplifiers. Some lucky ones had bikes, (later motorbikes). The "ART" of living is to find a way through it without coming off the rails. Yes it can be hard. The true "artist" works it with what he has to hand, not complaining or asking for more, but being inventive & resourceful. It has to be done - really. I'm willing you to find the way. Good luck to you all.
- There has never been any where for the teenagers to go in Midhurst thats why we always just hang about the bus stand, st anns hill, etc nothing has changed from when i was little and that was in the early 70's.
- The Grange car park, good for druggies and lifes losers
- The duck pond and Cowdray Ruins spring to mind, but of course neither of those is a good option when it is freezing cold, as it often is. British weather, please bite me.
- errr... bus stand???
- Southampton
- hail to the bus stand the bus stand the bus stand.....its THE place to be if you have nothing to do, no place to go, WHICH LETS FACE IT, IS EVERY YOUTH IN MIDHURST!!! why is midhurst so boring?!! there is nothing for us youths. what are we to do? an ice rink would be a good save please hint hint to any council member reading this......
- Well what can i say, midhurst is always buzzin........yeh....right. heres the thing,SOME of the older midhurst folk look at as youngsters altho were something just bin stepped in. us youths have nothing....we have the bus stnd and the duck pond to hang out at, well excuse me if im not wooping with joy. but seriously now...the boredom is what makes us crazy, we get driven towards drugs and anger ends up a big part of it too. give us something to do and give us some freedom, dont make us feel like were shit....you dont know us, and you have absolutely no right to judge when you dont know. Remember that next time you walk past us...........ALRITE MATE!!! satans is good in the summer, so warm mmm mmm mmmmmmm!
- SmallTownBoredomProject!!!!
- Hahaha yeah to midhurst what a random guide Yep its all been said Bus stand,Duckpond,Satans,Half-way Bridge,Pavillion (not sure if thats spelt right) and yes the bus stand stinks like dirty old tramps piss but nevermind.

- the duck pond, satans, bus stand, cowdray, skate park theres loads of places!! oh dont 4get midhurst youth club but dont smoke or anything coz they band the youth club on that day!and on a school day u might find a couple of ppl up whip hill!
- Yeah the bus stand, the duckpond, Satans or down by cowdray! Theres loadza drugs and loadza pigs but there pretty thick so you dont get caught too often!
- The bus stand of course, and the duck pond. There's also St.Anns or satans as we like to call it. Also down the cowdray ruins and the bridges on the cause way.
- I personally don't see the point in "Hanging About". It's seems like such a waste of time. I'd much rather be doing something.
- what happened to the big house next to Hill Top farm, we used to have a caravan with Alec Monro in 1950-60s. we used to live in Streatham.London.and used to love walking along the disused railway lines and tunnels RSVP. would love a photo of a cowdray yellow painted house
- Duckpond. Bus stand. And that's it.
- I reckon, the ultimate spot to hang out in Midhurst is near the bus stop, the waiting rooms smell like shit and there's graffiti all over the walls but you can smoke whatever you want and rarely get caught.
- The Duck Pond, St. Anns Hill, Holmbush Estate Football Field.
- I'm a 60's gal - St. Annes Wood was a favourite with us and the boy boarders from MGS - lots of wild stories and tales to tell at a reunion of the 60's students in June 2000. Please contact Siobhan Gislimberti (nee Hatchwell)- "shivvy" at villafon@aol.com A small group of us are still in contact and would love to hear from anyone else who remembers us!!!!
- The bus station at the bottom of North Street (locals will know what i mean!).
- The Rockwell Diner.

What is Knowhere?
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
