Skateboarding Spots
Carron Lane but only frequented by morons
Carron Lane - half a mile from town. Just a couple of ramps and rails.
Front of the post office isn't bad. but the best spot is on town site in the car park there are 2 waxed up kurb edges sloping down- brilliant for 50-50's and tailslides and stuff
post office, skatepark, intermediate school steps.grange car park
erm, yeh skate park
Outside Rockwell Diner and perhaps the skatepark??? (just a stab in the dark)
skate park at carron lane!good lookin boys here!!!!like my ex!and theres an 8 step at the primary budgens at the back!theres the post office and the church!!
theres a new skate park up carron lane left in memory of Steve MaGill, it's not to bad, but it's gonna be improved! You get loads of little kids up there that get in the way, but why should we deny them to skate!!!
Out side of the post office is a couple of good curbs , some good benches and rails. It would be good outside the tourist office but they have put down some bumps for the blind. Good steps and rails there. Midhurst Grammar School is good for curbs and steps and drop offs aswell. There is also some banks. When they build the skate park up Carren Lane it should be cool.
Budgens.
The bus station.
My home town!! (Aaah.) A few kerbs and that, but nowt worth shouting about. Also, all the resident skaters are complete tossers. You've been warned; you can't miss them. You can smell the arrogance for miles away!
Skateboard Shops
You have to go a bit further afield for shops of most kinds. There is one in Chichester in that little shopping square next to the Slug and Lettuce at the end of town.
Go to Chichester (E*S*P), Midhurst don't have any sk8 shops.
no we need 1 so bring 1!we hav 2 go 2 chi!!
Steven McGill's family and friend's are raising money for a skatepark to be built in Midhurst in memory of him. Please donate all you can. Thank you
Whats the point of having a decent skateboard in Midhurst when there are no skateparks? DUH!!!
No-one what quite happened but 'The Rad Pad', our only decent surf shop-i.e. only decent shop has mysteriously shut down.
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.
