The Best Things

• The friendliest local police force
• Try Petersfield Heath, public open space, ancient barrows dating back 5000years, ancient heathland and wildlife, ecological management plan in operation. Also Petersfield Pond on the Heath (looks like a lake but is not deep enough), good for fishing and boating (boats supplied). The heath is the jewel in petersfield's crown - new millenium walk for those using wheelchairs - plus special parking place for disabled vehicles.
• the interesting proportion of stoned adolesents attending Bedales school.Did Mini Driver really go there or was she just a hallucination? - who knows, who cares?
• The high concentration of good looking, polite and generally nice blokes from Bedales sixth form.
• Very little ever happens here.
• The lake and the surrounding countryside for long walks
• It's on the main line to London so you can get the hell out.
• Quiet enough to be restful, lively enough to be interesting.

The Worst Things

• PETERSFIELD R VERY ANTI SK8 BORDIN SO U GET BUSTID MORE EASLY
• Thugs at night in the square
• No record or music shops...or decent clothes shops
• Read the 'Petersfield Post' to find out just how dull the place is.
• Petersfield has no style and is one of those towns which have no interest, no life and can be depressing.
• Market is a disappointment (Wednesday & Saturday).
