• Little-known secret - Wembley Park hosts in albeit modest surroundings the holistic beautician both THE MAIL and THE MIRROR have raved about - Shenaz Shariff at the Pretty Woman Clinic in Wembley Park (132 Chalkhill Road - tel 0208 904 9594). (Her other clinic is in W1 - with prices slightly higher!) Trade secrets include hair removal with no tell-tale scars for both sexes, anti-ageing treatments without the knife, blitzing of acne and nasty red patches etc. Oh, and all the usual stuff.
• Wembley is a rough area.It large amounts of illegal immigration, illegal working,and related problems.Brent is supposed to have the largest stock of privatised rented housing however.(in London?)It shows but a h9gh proprtion is let to dodgy refugees,seekers etc. Oh those awful "shared kitchens with strangers"should be banned.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
