Sports Clubs and Facilities

• all apart from horse polo?
• Great sports place near Aspects (can't remember the name but its big) and no I'm not talking about Tescos. Bedford is the birth place of Paula Radcliffe, how wonderful!!
• bedford blues, goldington road. bedford town football. bowls club.
• bunyan centre and bedford ath.
• The Eagles - as we speak (beginning of 2004-05), and due to the restructering of the English football pyramid, Bedford Town (1990) are now in the Southern League (where Bedford Town mk I spent most of their existence), which makes a change from having to visit bland London suburbs/commutervilles in the Ryman Premier.
• bedford blues really are the bomb, and look out for BHS U15 hockey babes, they play tough, they look fit in skirts and their warm up is the best around. Dont diss curly's skills or she'll batter ya, she learnin, just slowly....
• Robinson pool for all your extreme diving needs, and the park behind it for tennis, cricket, footy, and anything else you can think of (but I bet I've already done it!...) and if you go to rob, pool they'll have leaflets for all the other sports facilities. And Milton Keynes is nearby, so make sure you have a go snowboarding on the real snow, fake slope sno-slope!
• We have football club " The Eagles". A rugby club various sports centres, sports clubs and gyms.
• The Snooker club on Tavistock Street is cool.
• Parks, oasis,robinison kempston basket ball courts loadsa places few skate parks.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
