Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars
Knaresborough's not such a great night out but Harrogate isnt bad. Revolution is a favourite of mine.
The Night Out fortunately has closed down to be replaced by Monteys which is a phenominal improvement
Monteys, but very dissapointing - more like a school hall with a bar than a 'Rock bar'. Bring back Nite Out...
Shite out has been shut down. Gonna be a bar so Knaresborough is now officially Clubless!!!!!
Night out is dead dudes! Closed, finished, no more. Being done up to be a Montey's Rock Cafe like the one in Harrogate, Nice one.
Is night out closing? Yeah it is, thank god!
Night Out has been sold and will be closed and done up! About F@?:{}~g time! At last the biggest dump on the planet is going to disappear, even better news, it's going to be Montey's Rock Cafe.. yippppeeeeeeeee
NightOut is closing! Not for ever but someone has bought it and this time it's getting money spent on it!!!!! The word on the street is it's going to be Montey's!
I just heard that Montey's have bought Night Out! That's got to be a result for all of us drinkers....
Night Out has been taken over, it'll be closing, having £100,000 spent on it and reopening in February 2004 as Montey's Rock Cafe (there's one in Harrogate). So it won't be a club anymore but it will be every bit as exciting as Montey's in Harrogate and better than all the other "bars" in Knaresborough!
night out
Shite Out is to be avoided at all costs. If you do end up going, tell no one
Night Out (locally known as Shite Out) Has been voted worst lub in the land!
Night out is the smallest night club in the world, and has its own webstite 'shiteout.com'. It has its ocasional under 18 parties where all the lasses get tarted up, and all the lads dance like pricks with 3 fingers in the air (especially James Moon) , taking the mick out of Vanessa Patton. Quite a few fights break out here between the broads and the scallys.
When I left there was only one -Niteout (or Shiteout) you can make up your own mind
If and when the pubs open 24 hours Nightout will probably go out of business. Tragedy.
Nighout is now on the internet but the url is too naughty to mention........ Oh since you asked..... it goes under the towns pet name for the place...
SHITEOUT
Night Out
Live Music Venues
Rat and Parrot in Harrogate have some awesome bands on a Thursday night. And The Market Tavern in good old Knaresborough don't do such a bad job of showcasing the local talent.
Fraser Theatre is hosting some gigs now. Look for posters. Shandybangs are making small time headlines, one to look out for.
None to speak of, the Mitre and the Station are shut now too!
Well now the station and the mitre have been closed down (one for flats and one to be a museum)! there aren't really any but Montey's does live stuff in Harrogate so hopefuly they will in Knaresborough too.
The station pub is now a block of flats. The Mitre pub is now a museum!
Montey's Rock Cafe will soon be opening on the old "Night Out" site and putting on plenty of live music like they do at Montey's in Harrogate
Worlds End sometimes, but the bands are usually comprised of 17 year olds playing Radiohead covers. Yorkshire Lass puts on some good Irish music occasionally
the station pub puts music on (sometimes)
None really apart rom the Mitre Pub
World's End pub, near Conyngham hall - especially when Mike Newsham used to do his solo spot
Cinemas
Fraser Theatre is putting some films on - look for advertising.
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
