• Tim Kellet, ex-Simply Red. Mark Owen had a house by the river. Paul Daniels used to own Mother Shiptons Cave.
• Pradeep Mehta, International Security and Escort Agency, London (millionaire living it up in Stanmore)King James School 1973-1978
• All the posh celebs who live on abbey road by the river like roger moore and the look north weatherman!
• The look north weatherman Paul Hudson lives by the river somewhere
• Didn't Mark Owen used to live on Waterbag Bank?
• Geofrey the Gynocologist, Mad Larry (Of Knaresborough) and Mark Previously of th Mitre!!
• Look North weatherman īsmallī Paul Hudson lives near the river somewhere.
• Mark Fenton, a famous American Footballer in the U.S was, I believe, from Knaresborough

• Terrence Alexander, who used to be in Bergerac, comes from Knaresborough, as does Tim Kellett who used to be in Simply Red. Tom Wilkinson who was in Martin Chuzzlewit used to attend King James's Grammar School, but I don't know if he lived in Knaresborough.

• Sid has gone BUT we now have a Female Town Crier (She doesn't make as big a deal as Sid BUT its still entertaining) and......... SIMON still haunts us!!!

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
