• Mr Blobby,allegedly, went to Halsey school.
• Vinny Jones! He used to live next door to my mate.
• I swear I once saw Ben Greshon in the paper shop next to MacDonalds, he smiled at me and I thought my heart was going to break. He's soooo cool! Possibly the most sucessful ex resident ever!!!

• i don't know if this counts but Brad Pitt was seen having a drink with Vinnie Jones in the wink well pub in boxmoor, hemel.
• Not exactly famous outside the area, but who in Hemel hasn't heard of Billy Queer? This notorious individual is known to inhabit the Grovehill and Woodhall Farm areas of the town.

• John Barnes got married at the church in the Old Town. I once knew a girl who sang at his wedding.
• Paul Boateng, MP may have been educated in Hemel but was, I believe a Berko boy
• Some others worth mentioning are Andy MacLure, former 12 Just Men drummer, who made it big with Sleeper in the 90s and had a string of Top 20 hits. Also Neil March and Darren Hillier who took Hemel band MSQ to London, had some success there and in Europe (and also had Andy MacLure on drums!). Greg Brimson, brother of Eddie, mentioned above, drummed on Owen Paul's 80s hit "You're my favourite waste of time".
• i know people have already mentioned him but vinnie jones and people shouldnt diss him we should be honered he lives here and feel safe! he moved from box lane though! he has moved to kings langley now he bought my freinds house! ne way stop dissing him he would rather gob on his self then go round hemel and by the way ofcourse he never beat up a taki driver he has his own driver!

• Vinney Jones resides at Box Lane now(its the one with the garden lights at night)he's gone all posh from the proceeds of 'lock stock and 2 smokin bollocks' He can be spotted at the 'Spa'club gym on Sundays playing the family man-on Saturday nights ,he can be spotted beating the shit out of a local Taxi driver.
• Lord Tebbit's and Lord Parkinson's political careers began in Hemel Hempstead.

• Dont believe any bollocks about Boateng being a local boy. He was an ex GLC looney who pushed out Robin Corbett the last HH Labour MP. Boateng cost Labour 3 elections in Hemel.

Buskers, Street Entertainers

• Towards the end of the month has anyone seen Ben Greshon busking outside Woolworths? He's really tallented with a harmonica.
• there are only about 5 of them and they play pan pipes
• Ahh, the brew crew, who live on the benches near the old town mini-roundabout. Always there to request financial assistance for more Tennent's Super as you walk by.
• piss head paul is a fucking legend!!! Even thogh he smells of piss.
• Bag Man is a fuckin loser, smells of piss, has cum stains on his trousers....................... thats why we torched his trolley. BIG UP THE HEMEL MASSIVE!!!!

• Robbie!!!! often seen on his bike with two dogs taking him 4 a walk. always stops 4 a chat, coolest guy in hemel. works as a chef in The Rose &Crown. LOVELY FOOD!!!!! TOWN IDIOT - CHRIS MASTERS. TOTAL DIPSTICK. rides bmxs&trials and thinks he's god. dresses like a tramp, looks like a tramp, SMELLS like a tramp. Actual age, 17, every1 thinks he's 14, mental age of 12. still a virgin, although he claims he lost it in yorkshire in a tent 2 sum unamed girl. b warned girls, he's quite good looking, but turns out 2 b A TOTAL AND UTTER MORON!!!!!!!!!

• there is a lack of them. i think it should be arranged that an over flow of london's 'entertainers' should come to hemel. they'd probably be abused by townies though.
• The only thing that can be said about people that busk in the area is no body thick enough to do it, the people in hemel are tight arses so if your thinkin about moving here's a piece of advice "don't"
• Unfortunately if you stand around singing in hemel you are likely to be hospitalised, but we do have some funny indian people who do some lovely stuff, and our big issue seller is very friendly if that counts! And theres always some ridiculous jazz band that everyone ignores in the centre of town. And on their day off it's tap dancers.
• the talent & quantity of street entertainers in hemel is definetly laking, either train the tramps or employ some well skilled buskers.
• The piss heads in Times Square are always good value for money.
