Skateboarding Spots
the blocks, cleveleys old skool prom - now dug up :o(
jenxs is good for indie music!!!!
Bandstand on the prom
Bandstand (obviously). 5 set in taxi center. new prom heading towards St Annes / Lytham has variety of stairs ledges etc. lytham skatepark - concrete small but nice . ramp city - wood, indoor £5 (they ask for membership but easily blagged) . new skatepark suppose to be built near TVR factory in Bispham (set for feb/march 2005) . 4 set at Bispham school . 6 set at school behind bispham libary . Moorepark swimming baths .
there is a rad ledge at goddly bum ally!!! jus aks for mike (he works there!)
well a lot of ppl tend to use the band stand opposite the tower and also the old popular places where lidl car park and jubilee gardens, both in cleveleys.
nearly everywhere up town is good for sk8in, like the senetafe(or memorial) the bandstand, the train station, hounds hill and bus station car parks are good for sk8ing if it rains.
All on south shore is smooth runnings, there are marble ledges and some big ledges to do things off, newly made carpark, some walls that are shaped like quarter pipes, big stair sets and a big drop over a 5 set.
The senataph is a great place to sk8, disrespectful but fun,
Ramp City Skatepark (01253 699005)
at the far end of Squires Gate Lane
BMX, Skate and Skateboards all welcome.
try the magistrates courts with a sick ass 95 set and some gaps and banks + it pisses every one of who works there near the main pig station
rampcity
just off they yeadon way round about
it has loads of ramps and caters for all experiences
llanelli leisure centre
banny curbs etc
The Clarence Pub's landlords fuckin' head!
St.annes has some good blocks in the square but plenty of unhappy people telling you not to skate them thus making you unhappy. Skate it anyway and enjoy yourself and also I don't think the cenotaph has had a mention, it's just up the prom from the bandstand in blackpool.
The clock tower is good for skateboarding heavily waxed stairs and shit loads of stuff to jump off
The blocks near to Cleveleys on the prom. Stanleys park is now a no-no as its all metal unless you like that shit.
Baines - Poulton, just the 5 stairs, 3stair n rails. oh and some benches good size.
civic centre poulton - come try the 12 stair rail
the curbs is a good covered spot when the weathers bad its part of a car park with a few slidy blocks, near it is the loading bay good for drop offs.
Bandstand and bispham
new skate park being built at lytham park . the old tennis courts are being converted to a skate park . suppose to be finished by january 2000.but obviously has not. a small tested ramp is put on. plans are made. but no clue when itll be finished
The banstand opposite the tower, was a great spot, until the council
ruined it, but we just won't leave, genarations of great skaters have
come from this spot.
Stanley park skatepark. Not bad outdoor spot, but suffers from
a bad case of grommit rollerbleeders.
There are other spots in town, but it is best to meet at the banstand
any night of the week, or at weekends and ask someone there.
The bandstand, Stanley Park Sk8 park, can't think of no more.
The Banny
There is a dedicated skateboard and blade area with half-pipes etc in Stanley Park. Must be quite good judging by the amount of kids there.
On the Promenade, loads of space and railings (CJW)
The summer of '95 began with rumours of a council-backed facility. It seemed they were worried about people skating the bandstand.
