Wahey Sally army shop, good bargains in there if you are over 80yrs old!
Wouldn't dream of shopping in Mirfield for clothes. Not till I reach 90 anyway.
Who said Natasha was good for clothes? It is the worst shop in Yorkshire never mind in Mirfield. An embarrassment that needs shutting down. Oh and don't forget that Castle Hall will always be the best school ever!!!
The shop on the corner of Doctor lane
Huddersfield is okay locally but I do wonder if Mirfield residents will still go after huddersfield spend £1.5 million on trying to slow down Leeds Road. If you know what you want a short trip to the White Rose is probably best as theres not much to choose from in Mirfield
Natashas give some good bargains at good prices
Loads, Natasha for school uniforms is the best though
Arts, crafts and such (Anything from pukka art galleries to craft shops. Trendy and twee both welcome.)

The library was always worth a visit, as I recall.
EastThorpe Gallery
One gallery - Eastthorpe. Real art is to be found at the Black Bull fish'n'chip shop (£1.60 for the World's best fish'n'chips).
Easthorpe Art Gallery on the main road has some local stuff.
Magazine and Comic Shops

Plenty of em even the coops sell loads of magazines
Any newsagent in Mirfield, especially Lee Green
All the newsagents are magnificent in keeping the isolated citizens of Mirfield supplied with comics, newspapers etc..
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.
