• I've been told that both Ginger Spice and George Michael are from Watford, Eugh!
• Geri Halliwell used to live here as did Elton John, who is (or used to be) one of the main shareholders at Watford FC
• George Michael, Elton John, Martin Kemp. Oh and Geri Halliwell.
• DJ TOPBUZZ (AKA KERR GRACIE) Top Oldschool DJ and now producer
• Forner Principal Conductor of the BBC SO - Sir Andrew Davis - went to Watford Boys Grammar School and sang in the choir of St Mary's Church. Antarctic explorer Edward Wilson lived in Bushey.

• Geri Halliwell, George Michael, Elton John (ok not actually from Watford but he is 'The Chairman', Tim Lovejoy, David Seaman lives near Loudwater I think and so does Graham Gold, Ozzy Ozbourne isn't to for from Watford either, Fat Pat from Eastenders lives in Radlett. erm...............I'm sure there are plenty more.
• Assorted popsters - them fellas from Wham. Weren't Paul Young & Simon Le Bon from Bushey? Watford has a lot to answer for.
• For a bit of culture, Sir Henry J Wood, founder of the BBC promenade concerts, came from this town. He opened the building that is the High Street Macdonalds. Ex-Goon and Potty Time's Michael Bentine was the only Peruvian born in Watford.

• Elton John doesnt live here, but his football club does! He`s still chairman, somebody has to do it!
• George Michael (Nth Watford) ex-Wham now appearing in public toilets. And of course Andy Ridgley (also ex-wham) now appearing in rehab. Joking apart I think Wham were brill, but I guess that shows my age.

Buskers, Street Entertainers

• Queens Road Subway! Gwan with your Guitar mate!
• There are normally one or two bible bashers spouting off outside Charter place
• When u come out of the clubs at about three o' clock there's always a homeless man next to the new mcdonalds, great to talk to but don't offer him chips, he won't eat them cos they're not organic. that's the truth.
• So-called musicians and artists hang out under the flyover committing acts of grafetti and making a racket. The council should do something about it, y'know.
• the old guy who plays guitar near hemstead road is good for a laugh
• A lot fo the locals are funny looking enough to be good entertainment value. You don't even have to give them money. Watford is the only town in Britain with more people officially classed as "funny looking" than Leicester.
• there is some old bloke with a guitar who is always singing in a shakey voice under the underpass at the top of the highstreet
• Usually an old bloke desparte for attention in the underpass towards the library/College. Sad man.
