Food

• Don't eat in the Nova restaurant!!!! All the chefs are alcoholics with no idea about personal hygiene.
• Try James on Victoria Rd, nice fish and you get a mountain of chips with each portion, no wonder im so fat, and the chinese meals are the best around. NICE ONE JAMES.
• scoop the remains of yesterdays r.s.p.c.a. leftovers from the inside of a half burnt pitta bread at the kebab shop. oh yeah...the suhail has a nice line in old peoples piss!!
• Stella's Bistro has just opened at Nova, the food is good and pretty cheap, although its only open fri, and sat in the winter.
• Archies and Under The Archies on the high street next to the top chippy is the best place to eat
• Rozi's Tandoori beats all comers.
• The chippy at the top of the high street is the best.
• Top chippy great. Otherwise - go to the Spar shop in Bodfari and ask Netty for a cheese-pasty. I cannot describe the sensation!
• Kebab shop in town: Yakup, he's taken Assan, the fat one!
• Who ever says the Suhail is good Indian food is easily pleased or they don't know any better. Try The Neel Akash in Rhyl twice as good and Half the price.
• The chip shop at the bottom of the High Street is the best out of the three.
• Two amazing chippies one at the top of town, and two Chinese, NG and Chiu's.
• The kebab house, the Suhail Indian for an ace Indian.

Pubs

• Give The Jolly Sailor a wide bearth,two years ago the place was ace but there seems to of been a change in senior staff which as lead to poor service and rank beer.One thing that has changed is the gay nights held there at weekends,apparantly some of the same faces that use the offas plus some of the more smarter gays,the other main problem is the number of chavs that are now let in,No its sad to see how this good pub has started to hit rock bottom
• Offas Tavern ( its not that bad... honestly!)
• The Sailor is now the worst pub in Prestatyn since Nigel moved Jane no lips in,the beer has gone right down the pan along with service
• the offas is an absolute hole they couldnt manage a p*** up in a brewery, and lets be honest its kinda what they are trying to do
• Th Victoria;beer to die for
• The Nant Hall or The foxes... probably the best in Prestatyn! The other`s are full of scum.. but the local Rhyl "Ganstars" keep comeing to restatyn.... Why?? stay in Rhyl!!
• Macauleys for the 99-01 people! Those were the days! Noodles, Parkynn, Moggis, WillOl
• Archies for as fine a selection of mutton as you'll find anywhere else in Prestatyn. The foxes - the only criterion for entrance seems to be shoe ownership. You may glass the chap next to you at the bar but you'll not do it in trainers, sonny boy. Avoid both establishments. H.Q.(nee Macauleys) is about your best bet.
• Macauleys (re-named harcyans quest or something like that) nice pub, full of nice people mainly indie people. Cross Foxes full of townies. Archies full of oldies. Offas full of tourists.
• Where can you start?Archies thinks it is in central Monte Carlo.It is not.No trainers at weekends?Er,hello,this is Prestatyn we are talking about.Full of the tennis club type who used to think McAuleys was'the place to be seen'! Cross Foxes is full of future 'tennis club types' aged 14.Featuring the obligatory meathead doormen,a 12 year old DJ and a PA system that gives new meaning to the term distortion.A hideous place. Other than them,pay tourist prices among the all day drinkers in Offas Tavern,visit Miles the twat,as he is known in the Victoria or pay £4.50 for a shot of goldslager(??????!) in Mcauleys.
• The nova has a distinct council-owned nostalgia (not to mention ball pool) which i enjoy more than any. After leaving the town for a period of town, the sleepy vic is always a premier chill-out zone. zzzz!
• Come to the Nova everybody. Frank's gone (Ahhhh) but John Hobday's taken over (Hurrah).
• Top of town - posh kids Bottom of town -Neanderthal kids
• The Foxes is full of over-dressed wanna be 18 year olds!
• The Cross foxes on a friday night is a top spot for totty, banging tunes goin' all night long err... well kinda!
• Go on a pub crawl in prestatyn, its a difficult task. Wez and Co could easily manage it. Start at the Beach Comba, then go on to the Gronant Inn, Prestatyn Golf Club, The Sands Hotel, The Nova, The Beach Club, The Victoria, Offas Tavern, Archies, Cross Foxes, McCauleys, The Ffrith and last but not least The Jolly Sailor. If Ive missed any sorry. 2 pints in each pub and you will end up in hospital. Happy drinking. Ill be doing the crawl again on 25/03/2000. Join me at 7pm at the Foxes
• The food in Macauley`s is excellent value!!!! the beefburgers are home made and taste bootiful. It has recently been taken over and the people that own it have really cleaned it up. The beer is now spot on and the atmosphere is great. Eat elsewhere at your peril......
• the offas is a good local hangout for the gay community..just ask for cliff!! the cross foxes is populalated by cavemen. (just ask for carina!!)
• Ffrith, Jolly, Railway (Offa's),Cross Foxes,Vic.
• I used to be a slapper who went to the Cross Foxes all the time. Now my siter, has taken over from me, and she is turning out just as well adjusted and alcohol-toklerant as I have. Bless this pub and everyone who goes there, except of course the guys with small willies - and wives.
• Offa's Tavern (by station) is overpriced, underused (except by toddlers in the Whacky Warehouse monstrosity). Cross Foxes (top of High) posers' paradise, be ready for a fight. McCauley's (near tennis club) which is actually good. Then any number of dodgy drinking dens for alcoholics with tattoos on their eyelids.
• Cross Foxes now very seedy. Best Pub is Jolly Sailor - good beer too!
• If you do go to the Angry Dogs (XFoxes) see-through, white keks are the de-rigeur attire. (No skiddies please).
• For down to earth prices and village pub atmosphere I recommend the Red Lion in Meliden, one mile west of Prestatyn.
• A fun one this. If you are a trendy you will go to the Cross Foxes in your best frock, and if you can't get in there then its Maculeys pub quizes at Offa's tavern (easy: even I have won it) and the Nova (only for God like intelects).
