Food
The Black Horse is your place for food. world renowned Thai food 9well i met someone in Coventry that had heard of it once)
Then again you get some decent grub at The Tavern, except it tends to be cooked by a grumpy Manc
The Tavern does food but the menus too big, you know it must be all frozen cuz theres about 300 dishes on the menu. The other pub no one goes in so I wouldn't eat there. Unless they still do the Thai stuff.
the thai food in the black horse id bloody fantastic i should know i work there at the weekends, try the fried rice
Thai food at The Black Horse.
Pubs
Tavern = Very nice drinks you'll find here a good range of guest beers, as well as some of those gaseous foriegn beers. best pint of 'Best' around(leicestershire, well Lutterworth really, actually telling the truth probably in Walcote)
Black Horse
You have to try The Tavern Inn at Walcote, good quality food for resonable price
A very extensive menu but is all cooked fresh, they all so have a very good selection of real ales, recently it has changed hands and is now even better then it use to be, if you don't believe me go there and try it.
If you go in the Tavern, there's a nice lass in there, shes abit thin, but nothing that a steak and kidney pie wouldn't sort out.
steer clear of the tavern, watch out the skateboard wielding bojo cope in the carpark hell have your head off in a second given half the chance

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.
