• There is a music shop in Whitstable, just not the conventional sort. Rich Mr Sax Limited are based on the Joseph Wilson Estate and operate an online music store at www.richmrsax.com/shop One main difference though, they don't sell brand names, just good quality guitars, basses, percussion and accessories at really low prices. You can pick up from their unit or in most cases get free delivery if you're close to Whitstable.

• Macoroni's in Sperm Bay.
• FSC, primarily a guitar shop, can be found by the Tankerton circus roundabout among the group of shops which never seem to do very well.
• FSC on Tankerton Road just by the roundabout.
• There are no Musical Instument shops as such but a browse round Bruce Randells second hand shop might be worthwhile as a bargin can be found. Be careful though as he is a bit of a shady character and I would suggest testing them out before purchase.

Recording Studios, Rehearsal Rooms, PA Hire

• Rich Mr Sax again... Newly set-up small digital studio suitable for solo, duo's and small bands. Specialise in recording acoustic instruments, but can't accommodate live drums. Also about to launch an independent record label, starting with an EP by Local guitarist Lee Thompson.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
