Favourite Building

• Concept 2000 is pretty special, its like an enormous 3D mirror
• Concept 2000 (HA!)
• Farnborough Abbey - a hulking great edifice that in fact is just Napoleon III's tomb.

Demolish It Now Building

• Totland flats, leave all the pikeys that live in them trapped inside. And while your at it, throw in anyone who has anything to do with Rushmoor borough council.
• Kings and Queensmead
• Town Centre - Luckily its falling apart by its self
• The glass spider building on the Clockhouse roundabout.

The Best Things

• Thatched Cottage
• not being too near to Bracknell
• Actually not living in Farnborough!!
• Although there are a few decent stores in the Town it isn't a main shopping attraction as Camberley, Guildford and Reading are not too far away. The Farnborough Main and Farnborough North stations get you to all the places you want to go. Direct routes to London. Easy.
• The good hard working people who still have values in trying to bring children up so they respect other people no matter where they live.......get the point.!
• There isnt much in Fanborough although many of the people are friendly as they are mostly war veterans with a story they are dying to tell you.
• There are some real characters in Farnborough - it seems as if the people are either ultra-straight (NEVER work in an office in Farnborough, it's hell with extra hair gel) or very, very strange indeed. Sometimes it gets a bit much, though. There's also some laid-back hippies here besides the squaddies. That may not be much of a recommendation, but they mean well, and are the yin to the squaddie's yang.

• Most of the People
• It's quiet- easy to relax in Farnborough as there is barely anything to distract you.
• There is a large cinema/bowling complex planned in the town centre. This will be a big boost as it would be by far the largest leisure facility in the area.
• Farnborough Airshow.
• Pyramid Technology are based there.
• Farnborough College. It has a hair and beauty school and there are LOADS of lovely girlies there. Just stroll round town at lunchtime on a sunny day and spot the white uniforms.

The Worst Things

• The mini wanabes
• The drug dealers on the totlands estate. It's just as rough as some inner city london estates.
• everything inside the boundaries of cherrywood road and mayfield road i.e : the totlands estate.
• The council estate on chapel lane is pikiesh and it's falling down. It's a no go area.
• the totlands estate and the hawley lane estate.
• driving around the crap one way system, the council estates ... the sad loss of Totlands reputation :/ *weep*
• A lot of kids with nothing to do...
• Townies pretty much run the show in Farnborough. Their arent as many as in Aldershot or Camberly though.. yet
• The shopping centre as it has nothing of any interest.
• Is it strictly legal to say that I worked with Phileas Fogg Travel Agents in the summer of '99 and found them to be a bunch of suburban hick donkeys? Ok then. Still, they're stuck living in Farnborough which is punishment enough, while I'm happy here in London doing my stuff, thank you. Also, there is a slightly dodgy arms trade originating from this town, selling torture weapons to countries in conflict through viable legal loopholes. Never mind, though, the trade means they've got the best flower displays in the streets in the UK, and the locals don't seem to mind too much.
• No nightlife, and good shops
• Shop assistants
• Tory Politics and success stories, stopping a new pub opening in the town centre and making a roundabout bigger - SAD Tory MP against the equal age of consent - bigot
• Terrible bus service- the last bus from Farnborough station to my house is just before 6pm!
• It's full of very stupid people.
• The town centre is shit. There are no good shops (except Meltdown Records).
• Airshow traffic. The whole town is overrun by moron drivers looking at planes out of their sunroof's.
