  • The back of wollies on the steps, great for eating chips cheese and mayo in your school luch hour whilst 'avin a fag'
  • The in the centre of town.... it's ded cute especially on a sunny day and they even have a little bird sanctuary bit. Aw!
  • The Low semi-circular stone wall outside Maccy D's. (And when things 'move on' round the back of the stump)
  • West street alot of hookers at night especially near the cinema.
  • New mc donalds drive thru full of boy racers
  • Outside JJBs, is a good place to meet your mates or outside Woolies if you don't mind townies (but lets face it, who doesn't mind townies!). A good place to eat Mcdonalds or Fish and Chips is at the Herbert Ingram memorial and outside the library. Good place to hang out is near the social security office and the police station. Or at the back of the stump or near spooky's.
  • Top of queen street on bargate bridge ready for a full pub crawl into town is a good meeting point, pleasant views of the brown river.
  • It's got to be outside Boots. The classic place for the Boston slapper to meet up with her equally reppellant friends.

  • McDonalds seems to be a favourite spot for the not so many teenagers that don't get into any clubs
  • I always dug the bench outside the chippy at the end of Norfolk Street/Horncastle Road. Best place to meet other people wearing long coats in '85...youth of today rejuvinate this place !
  • The back of Boston college, about a hundred yards off the halfpipe with a large waxed curb. The ramp is bumpy and has a slight extension. Also the back of the libary with a drop, rails and walls.
  • The new meeting place in Boston is the new Whetherspoons pub Moon
  • The main place these days seems to be outside McDonalds in the Market Place especially for the boy racers.

What is Knowhere?

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!

If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.

Have Your Say...

The Knowhere Guide depends entirely on real users for information. Please feel free to join in.

You can tell us more about Boston. This is also the method to use if you want to correct some of the information already here. (But please remember you're not mailing the person who actually wrote whatever-it-is.)

You can use the add an event form to tell us about events happening in Boston.

If you are unhappy with any of the content on this page, turn on the flags.

Or, if you'd just like to leave a message for other users of this site, take a look at The Knowhere Board (handy if you're just trying to get in touch with someone).
