  • Maccy d's for the fat fockers... about 56,000 pizza take away shops
  • Mc donalds
  • The old butcher's shop by Abbeyway Gate is now "La Boucherie" top class/quality restaurant. Well worth a visit, especially for that special occasion. We took ourselves (from Halesowen) and a cousin from Glossop. Everything was great. Another good reason to visit Malvern ! [01684 562676]
  • is also shite e.g burger star even though this has recently closed due to health issues
  • Kebab van outside the Lighty, pukka.
  • Agra for indian (purely cos of the generousity of the owners) Pizza Fiesta (overpriced, but the deep pan is very good) There was some sort of organic pancake shop up town for about 3 weeks, until they realised that no-one eats in great Malvern any more cos McDonalds has opened, and there's a far bigger car park for everyone's souped-up nova down there.
  • golden kitchen, open til 12 on friday night, very useful after the pub

  • cant beat a Kwai takeaway
  • scallywags has excellent food and very friendly service. not always non-xmoking depending on how busy it is. the pizza takeaway in barnards green (the olive tree??) is also very good
  • Well I suggest the New Macky D's down by safeway for a cheap, nourishing meal however it's not so close, or for an expensive and not so tasty pizza-'Pizza Fiesta', or if you're feeling brave and ready to be overcharged,-be daring and try-'Spar'-for your out-of-date snacking needs!
  • Pizza Fiesta along the road from electronique dungeon

  • Just been in Malvern over holiday weekend, and having found the Nag's Head first time by accident, went out of my way to pay a second visit, before going to catch my train home. Wish the Nags was my local. Excellent range of beers, good pint reasonable priced, friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. I got into conversation with a couple of regulars straightaway - something you could take ages to do in some parts of the country. Intelligent and good-humoured chat around. And had my first taste of Banana Bread Beer! (I'll try anything once, but this time I tried it twice) Newspaper rack handy too - with quality papers. Like to keep abreast of current affairs. (and there's no bar in my local library) Like I say, wish this pub was my local - any chance of setting up a branch of the Nags in north-west London? (Thanks guv, I'll look forward to drinks on the house next time I'm in Malvern - :-) )
  • yes the wyche
  • Ollies (Olivers) is quite simnply the best pub in the land, with it's comfortable sofas at the far end by the poo, table, all set for chillin on aaturday afternoon, b4 heading home, and getting ready to hit Ollies again for when the action really hots up. Often followed by a trip to the dubious lighthouse club. Hot ass from Malvern college as well....and I went there!

All life is here (which may or may not be a good thing). - Foley Arms (accross road from the above) older, bizarre mix of folk, some live music. - Red Lion (up hill on right from Unicorn) Used to be youth pub, now a bit less. Still Packed Thur-Sat. - The Morgan (Worcester Road, towards Link Top) The clientelle look young. VERY young. Of COURSE they are all over 18, and the Local police would never turn a blind eye to 14 year old regulars. - The Wyche (almost on the top of the Hills on road to Colwall) Snug, atmospheric, haunt of Witches. What is Knowhere?

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!

If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.

If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.

Have Your Say...

The Knowhere Guide depends entirely on real users for information. Please feel free to join in.

You can tell us more about Great Malvern. This is also the method to use if you want to correct some of the information already here. (But please remember you're not mailing the person who actually wrote whatever-it-is.)

You can use the add an event form to tell us about events happening in Great Malvern.

Or, if you'd just like to leave a message for other users of this site, take a look at The Knowhere Board (handy if you're just trying to get in touch with someone).
