Hook-up Spots (That hallowed spot where everyone hangs around with their mates dreaming of the time when they can get into the pubs or clubs - a bench, a corner: you name it.)

• The telephone box on the corner of chapel close and main street seems to be popular with yonger residents.
• Dutton Bassett is exactly like the comments say, it is full of no hopers like Paul Hurford and Jonathan Archer. Jonathan Archer especially is probably under the impression that Dutton Bassett is somehow better than Broughton Astley, a much respected town.

• On The Bench on the corner of Cooper's Lane and the A426.
• Down Well Lane, outside The Manor. The kids hanging around here were termed glue-sniffers by the Independent. They drive up and down and up and down and up and down in the the really fast... bog standard Fiesta Dash's sporting XR2 stickers. Lads we really aren't impressed. Do you honestly think you can keep up with our Peugeot 106 XSi???? Pack it in and leave it to the big boys, just go off and play with your Lego instead.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
