Food

• I WOULD JUST LIKE TO ADD THAT BEALES DOES THE NICEST FISH AND CHIPS FOR REASONS, i AM NOT AT LIBERTY TO REVEAL!
• the GLOBE - BEST VALUE QUALITY MEALS AROUND - TRY THE GIANT WHALE COD
• Some mates of mine work in Burger King so i get free food there :)
• La Rochelle for a cracking meal, and a good reason to re-mortgage your house (with their prices)
• Try a lunch at The Swan, Nottage. Only serves lunches from Monday to Saturday. Very reasonable prices all under £5.00. The best lunch in West Glamorgan. Try it!!!
• Good stuff. The Burgerking is great, at cheap prices and with friendly staff
• La Rochelle's nice The Tribal Coconut's better - Kangaroo Burgers
• STATION HILL CHIP SHOP.
• Loads of good restaurants and pub providing good bar meals. My favourites include The Atlantic Hotel, Fairways which do a splendid bar meal
• The Prince of Wales pub at Kenfig serves a better Sunday lunch than your mum does. Log fires, old timers, walkers calling for a pint from the barrel. There's a ghost too. The bread and butter pudding is heaven. Jaipur restaurant on the seafront does a wonderful Indian meal, but book early as it's very popular !
• sidolis opposite woolworths does a mean hot chocolate, great for dunking your kitkat or drifter in
• Fairways curry mmmmmm.......
• Caspians on the seafront is great, open after 7pm sells kebabs, fries etc. The peole are nice too. P.S. There is a scary spice who works there on a Saturday night
• Loads of chippys and Chinese takeaways near the surf shops on Station Hill.

Pubs

• The Knights is too busy, the youth of POrthcawl should find somewhere else. The thing about Porthcawl is once you get your qaulifications you're outta there, the people left behind are either under 18, over 80 or retards and can only get a job in Porthcawl. The result is minors (not coal minors) going to the pubs and clubs, it works beautifully because the police realise we're better off inside a well run pub or club than causing trouble on the streets.
• All pubs in Porthcawl accept people who are spending their Mothers Family allowance.
• The Swan in Nottage. Exellent beer, cheapest in Porthcawl, Great atmosphere, full everynight. And the lunchtime meals are as good as anywhere in Wales.
• Life boat rules
• The Knight's Arms - Where Kids Wait For Their Parents To Pick Them Up After A Swift Pint And A Fumble With A Sixth Former In The "Beer Garden" (read:poorly lit back alley) The Marine - Drop Outs R Us Chico's - Trendy's R Us...ace cocktails though.
• MARINE IS THE BEST ON A HOT SATURDAY AND NIGHT. CHICOS IS GOOD FOR THIER COCKTAILS. KNIGHTS IS OK, BUT IT'S FULL OF TEN YEAR OLDS.
• Chico's, the green man, the sportsman and in the summer outside the Anchor Bar on the front
• The Marine, also on the seafront is a great place for watching the world go by, and getting a tan. ( plenty of benches outside) Doubles for £1.20 and always a pint or a bottle for a quid.
• The Jolly Sailor in Newton - excellent beer - try the SA or the Boys. Old mans quiz on a Sunday and all the latest on the allotments.
• the marine, the swan in nottage village, or for a complete scary time the cabin bar in the manor suite next to the fair
• Green Man, Chicos, Wine Bar The Esp, The Swan
• The biggest and best pub in town has to be The Marine on the sea front ,three pool tables loud varied Rock/Pop juke box and live Sky Sports , not to mention some of the cheapest beer around .
• The Marine on the Prominade has to be the best, especially in summer, as they have a beer garden in the front over-looking the sea!! But beware, it is quite a 'local' pub.
• The Knights Arms (young drinkers a go-go), The Pier, The Sportsmans, Loads of hotel bars as well.

Cafes and Coffee Shops

• I suppose it'd have to be Pietros, but i prefer Sidoli's.
• Sidolis opposite woolies, and Pietro's on the sea front - MMMM, Very nice Not Fulgonis by the police station (flea pit)
• Sidoli's - try any one of five Fulgoni's try any one of...actually there's only one I can think of now.
