• Scarie Spice used to live up past Rest Bay towards the Steel Works, she used to spell her name different then though. Skerie Spice and she wasn't black either, and used to write the lyrics for her songs in blood and not in shit like she does now.

• John The Song - You'll find him in John Street every other day, singing (abeit badly) to hits of the past. Also, don't take the piss 'cause he's not a well bloke. Have some sympathy.
• Hear John the Song's multi platinum single on the juke box at the old Pier A side 'Everybody loves Friday Night' B side 'Everybody loves Saturday Night'
• John the Song - classic guy, tutored some of my friends in Maths but is often found on the main street singing current chart songs as if you would sing them in church!!

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
