Clothes Shops, Shoe Shops, Fashion and Bargains
Rebellion's been sold - posh frocks shop, they do Seven for all Mankind jeans & Marco Polo - but Moschino and Paul Smith are a bit pricey compared with New Look! And the lingerie shop at the end is pretty nice - Minoosh - new modern shop, do designer kids clothes as well. Not much for the lads though - M3 is pretty good, but its a small shop. Nice people.
Big new look but no boys clothes shops
There is a new clothes shop which opened in Rushton's Yard, Ashby-de-la-Zouch in November. It sells both Men and Womens, age range around 16 - 25 for both. Really good, up-to-date fashion at a reasonable price! They have regular updates of stock, so they've always got new stuff in. Plus, they havent got thousands of the same things for women, so you can find something different. Little and often when it comes to stock. 10/10!
Not many to Be honest, especially mens clothes, very limited. Women have the likes of Dotty P's and New Look, where men only have one reasonable shop M3, which sells many designer labels such as Ben Sherman, Lambretta etc.
Men's shops kinda suffer in Ashby, there's M3.
Cancer Research UK, has got some down and diggy threads
Everyone knows about New Look. It's pretty good.
New Look, Dorethy Perkins
new look has recently been opened on market st. near the pizza place if you want cheapish but fashionable clothes
'Dress Code' doesn't exist anymore.
Dress Code in Market Street recently opened for Le Femme's. There is also a Dorothy Perkins and Peacocks for the seriously uncool. If you are a feller you are struggling but in Market Street there is an abundance of Charity Shops, Childrens Society, Help the Aged, Oxfam and Imperial Cancer Research for the bargain browsers.
Arts, crafts and such (Anything from pukka art galleries to craft shops. Trendy and twee both welcome.)
Fabulous Fabric: great fabric shop and /sewing school/ with teacher from 'Ladette to Lady'!! Lots of fun.
the Mill Lane Mews is full of crafty shops if your into that sort of thing.
Abode Interiors an Rushton's Yard is an ideal place to buy trendy home nik-naks, greetings cards and gifts for friends and family alike.
You will find many craft shops in Mill Lane Mews, between North Street and Market Street. Also, Crafty Mums at Stewart Fairweather Carpets can be found on Tamworth Road.
Magazine and Comic Shops
Bar the general newsagents, Wilcox's and Mercury (on Market Street), Johnsons of Bath Street, no specialist ones.
