• For a commuter/trendy area Brentwood is seriously lacking in decent clothes shops, although one or two decent-ish boutiques have opened recently. If you're looking for quality go to Bluewater! If you're not, try Oxfam!
• Splinta in Brentwood Arcade. Good labels. Fashionable prices. Zaks is good too.
• NOT A GOOD TOWN FOR CLOTHES SHOP UNLESS YOU LIKE STUFF FROM 'THE OFFICERS SHOP'(GREATLY OVERPRICED) OR 'PEACOCKS'(CHEAP AND CHEERFUL)
• Krisp is excellent for womens' clothes. It's inexpensive and I can often find something there when I've failed at Lakeside!
• New one near Maccy Ds called Virgos and theres some desinger shops dowm Crown Street.other than that New Look,Krisp,Dotty Ps and Next.Nadine

• Krisp, New Look, Marks and Spencer. If youre looking for designer stuff like mrogan, french connection yada yada - go to crown street (opposite barclays and mcdonalds_ and theres a fewnice and pricey shops down there.Or try Zaks and Splinta in the precinct

• Little craft shop on the high street. Useful for any random painting crap you might need.

• Why do you have an entry regarding Bairstow Eves Estate Agents in this section - I thought you did not put anything defamatory/derogatory/libelous in your site - so why put in the bit about ALL estate agents being liars - this is simply not true, not fun and not the sort of thing I want my daughter to read (she is the daughter of two estate agents!!!!!!) Please remove this statement.

• Crafty Arts next to Bairstow Eves!!! Personally, Id say yer best bet would be to pop into Bairstows for some good old fashioned creative agency!!! Otherwise known as all estate agents lie!!!!

• There is a really good art gallery not far from the main multi-storey car-park and there's also a really nice shop that sells beautilful pieces, like Moorcroft pottery, not far from the High Street, down Ingrave Road.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
