Hookup Spots
- deasties palace!!
- they all fight behind coop at lunch then go for a fag.
- anywhere, 'cause all the lassies in wick r hoores!!
- outside fairways where the kiddies sup from coke bottles and camps toilets where teenage sluts give head.
- Sitting on the steps outside Boots glaring at pasers-by - even in antartcic conditions
- The Seaforth Club is where i have a pint after the football match when Wick Academy have a game uinforunately i cannot say a win very often. the teams often end up there for a quick one before leaving for the warm south Brora, Peterhead and inverness. They are 100 mile south of us in Inverness and no its not snowing at present and the midges are all sleeping. See you in New york shortly if anyone will be there from the 12 February. i believe ther is a bar with 20 Scotttish beers - we will see.
- wonder why every body hangs around woolies. Well its free and the locals don't live there at night. So you can make lots of noise and get stared at by passers by. But honest its harmless. If you have the inclination wick has more watering holes than almost any other place in the north. Get to know a local because their several members only clubs where drinks are a fraction of the price in the for profit hostelries. Almost any member will sign you in if you ask. At weekends the clubs have music, quizes and other entertainment.
The dances at the Backer a local club are packed on a Saturday night.
- There always seem to be people standing on the bridge staring at any strange cars driving through.
- Outside Woolies on the High Street
Anywhere on the pedestrianised part of the High Street, it's not that long!
- Outside the TSB Bank on the High Street
Outside Woolworths on the High Street

What is Knowhere?
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
