• Pedal pwered bike shop, a very good one is pete cycles on oakleaze road. i think the one in the high street has closed down.
• Petes is always helpful and friendly.
• Pete's cycles - person powered pedal peddler. Excellent service (but appalling ordering) - he'll fix your bust wheels in no time. New spokes only 30p a go - get them while they're fresh.
• Mikes Cycles on Oakleaze Road is the place for you if you are a peddle-pusher. Motorised bikers should head into Bristol.

BMX Trails, Street Spots

• I was responsible for raising money needed for the expansion. All funds are safe and ambition is still there, despite a slight set back when a foreighn bin-man tried to muscle his way in on my idea. No chance sunshine. JP Trails and everyone who supports them are still behind me. Waiting for the planning application to be re-agreed. Long live all those who follow and get out of the way if you dont wanna help. Rumours are suspected to have started from a little bike shop in Thornbury. This guy should be trying to help, instead he is just looking stupid.
• The skate park will soon be made bigger but with no help from people running off with fundraising money!
• Going up morton way, nearing the top, on the left hand side of the road is Hackett woods. Climb over the gate and follow the path in and youll find Thornburys best kept secret. Trails built by a group of dedicated locals who wanted somewhere decent to jump their bikes and race round bermed corners. Good place to have a fire as adults rarely go in there. Watch out for the crazy backward farmer who lives nearby, he'll come in and tell you to "ged orf his laand" but you can tell him to "fuck off" as it isn't his land it's willy greys and he doesnt mind.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
