Computer and Games Shops

  • There is one on the high street and there are lots in Taunton - oh and there is a place where you can rent them! Loving that idea. Only been there once though don't remember where it is sorry guys.
  • Gemini computers the staff do not know what there on about, there not cheaper than any other computer suppliers, if you what to get ripped go there. the comments below are writen by the owner.
  • Polden Virtual Shopping Mall on www.polden.com Shop securely from recognised UK companies
  • Gemini Computers their prices are top notch, i used buy all of my blank cd dvd media on the internet from SVP a.k.a blank disc shop, but the prices at gemini are either the same or cheaper than svp's plus their are no postage costs to worry about. :) the freindly and helpfull staff is a bonus aswell.
  • there is one in the avenue!
  • Gemini computers doesn't need any more business so don't bother phoning him for prices or anything -very unhelpful and would not give the price of anything-shop elsewhere
  • Gemini Computers - Can supply all of your computing needs based in bridgwater we stock a large range of products check out the website for all the latest products at the lowest prices. www.geminicomputers.co.uk
  • Level 7 is so expensive and their staff don't seem to know anything at all about hardware.
  • DNA - don't go there, they have been known to charge in excess of £40 for a simple re-format. It's cheaper to do a course at the college, and do it yourself!
  • Try Gemini Computers, good prices and friendly staff
  • Level 7 Computers At 39 Eastover is undoutbly the best computer shop in bridgwater, they have a large range of accesorries ,new and used computers they also do repairs, network instalations & website design, you can call them on 01278 444770 or visit there website to buy online www.level7.co.uk their prices are unbeatable Reccomended A+++++++++
  • I notice you mention PiCs DVD_Games_Video, Hire and Sales in Bath Road, just thought I would point out they have now moved to St John Street, bigger and better too and if you are driving you can drive right up to the door in Barclay Street Car Park, handy in the bad weather when you want to rent.

  • are always filled with scabs that couldnt possibly afford anything there
  • Insane Games In the arcade, high st. Very good value ! even at Bridgwater country straw in hat prices.
  • Try Bits for best playstation deals although games in short supply. Check out Block busters as there are some really cheap ex rental games for sale.
  • Games mart ,High st.
  • Good game shop in The Avenue.
  • Aztec Games - a rather sad little new and secondhand videogames store with oustandingly surly staff.

LAN Parties, Tournaments, LAN Game Cafes, WiFi Meets, PSP/DS Meets

  • DNA Computers 19 Eastover Opposite Woolworths. For all your IT needs Includes LAN gaming and paries as well as Internet Access
  • The Engine room is NOT a lan gaming center. Its a media center with internet access. The only real gaming center I know of in the area is DNA Computers who will open late and dont just close at 5. The main problem with bridgwater is no-one wants to pay for services, hence why there arent more places like this!!! superb service and friendly staff.
  • DNA computers the only and original Cybercafe (Internet cafe) in the area. All the repairs are carried out by full time employed and qualified staff (rather than certifiable or ghosts like some other local shops)To my knowledge the ONLY LAN gaming centre south of Radstock unless you're count six blokes sitting in a bedroom playing with their bits and PCs as not being 'Iffy'
  • Engine room!!
  • the engine room (sort of a internet cafe) with is near town hall!
  • Avoid the iffy one DNA Computers the best one is the engine room at the top of town

What is Knowhere?

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!

If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.

If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.

Have Your Say...

The Knowhere Guide depends entirely on real users for information. Please feel free to join in.

You can tell us more about Bridgwater. This is also the method to use if you want to correct some of the information already here. (But please remember you're not mailing the person who actually wrote whatever-it-is.)

You can use the add an event form to tell us about events happening in Bridgwater.

Or, if you'd just like to leave a message for other users of this site, take a look at The Knowhere Board (handy if you're just trying to get in touch with someone).
