• Someone told me once they thought the staff in St John Street Cycles were BRUSQUE (c.f. moody). I think that describes them rather well, even though I don't know what it means.
• Do not go to the Bicycle Chain, they're a bunch of wankers who have not got a clue about anything and will overcharge you on some of the worst kit available on the pretence that it's 'the best they've seen for ages'

BMX Trails, Street Spots

• People in bridgwater have an unnoficcial shareing sceme with their bikes it seems to work like this you leave your bike outside a shop when you come out its gone so you look for another one this continues for about three months untill you find your original one again resprayed with pink or green dulux and with all those unnessary bits missing you know the stuff brakes, lights tyres etc.
• used to have eight pack and a few other dirt jumps near Chilton Trinity school until about august 2003 but the council flattened them to build houses

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
