Food
Trojan grill is about best.
They are supposed to be building a mcDs on the car park across from the butty box nr the queens but the council are complaining that the cant fit enough parkin places so i think the idea will be scraped. shame. back to tasters then.
Trojan, Little Italy, Lucky House, Curry Cottage, Tung Sing, Gonzales, Rancheros, American Fried Chicken, Royal Balti House, Shaleen, Quale, Market Fish Bar. Loads!
Lots and lots and lots
Devils work, not allowed. Yopu are allowed to eat four slices of Wharburtons family loaf each day. If you require good food, try Davardies in nearby Walkden, GET THERE AND ASK ANYBODY.

Pubs
THE CHURCH HOTEL IS A GREAT PLACE TO MEET YOUR MATES BEFORE YOU TAKE ON THE REST OF FARNWORTH.THE BAR STAFF ARE GREAT INCLUDING THE PARTTIMER DAWN.
BRIDGE WATER......HAS GOOD HUMOR HOUR 5.30 6.30pm mon -fri its a laugh you can call any person in the pub. joke about each other.sex in the beer garden.smoke pot in the best room .this is also stolen goods hour when some of the best local thievs sell ther days swag ranging from b&m goods to house hold robed goods.we have great music played also ....this mortal coil to worssles ect. great games are played marbles snap raps eyespy gurning hide&seek and beleive it or not swiming ? and glass counting.....pools good fun dart&dom next door in the bradford but we dont bother.....we have great beer green for gone .and hayingerbrau. bad back valve bitter also mouldy mild so come on down for great fun alls welcome
Clock Face...run by a fat arrogant bastard who for some reason, thinks he's good, (with the exception of being a tosser). The place is stuck in a time warp as is most of it's elderly clientle. Where elephants go to die.
Black Horse, probably the best and cleanest pub in Farnworth, decent food at very resonable cost, good staff generally.
The Market, Brackley Street. Dirty, scruffy, frequented by the local mafia (ha!) familys who think they run Farnworth. One of saddest pubs I've ever had the misfortune to visit. Daily frequented by bog eyed local retards and monsters.
The Brittania..opposite the Bus Station. Spit and sawdust, dirty, scruffy, smelly. Suspect beer, stick to carpet hovel. Kareoke Sundays all day, full of the landlords illegitimate offsprings and bog eyed monsters incapable of stringing two words together....before the daily ritual starts.
The Bradford, Buckley Lane. Old Posers (LOL) paradise. Crap..dont know what your drinking, welcomes John Travolta look alikes. Funny to see the 40+ women still wearing ra ra skirts, yup a slappers paradise. Talk is of how we stayed in a five star in Benidorm and what fiddles are going round, who's knobbing who.
The Bridgewater, Buckley Lane. Keeps a decent pint, cheap, clean. Run by the laziest landlord ever who thinks he's 14 as can be seen from his dress sense. Largest pair of Adidas tracksuit bottoms to be found EVER. No matter how busy the pub, no way will he step behind the bar while theres paid staff (1) on. In fairness his wife is great and will work. The locals will not speak with you until you've been going in 30 years, then, if your lucky and passed interrogation the you'll be invited to join the inner circle. Dont go in for a day or two and you'll be Interrogated as to where you've been and threatened with expulsion from the click.
The Queens...thought you'd heard it all, try here the landlady is capable of out swearing the best.
The Wellington, the biggest television ever dominates the place. Goes through tenants like no tomorrow, staff think they own the place and is their exclusive little den, unless your face fits...forget it !
the white hart. Rough as dogs b*ll*cks. and that DJ pablo is pants

The Market tavern, if you want your face kicked in
THE WELLINGTON. LOWER MARKET ST
Upmarket-- Club RAC, Shakespeare, White Hart, Canary, Grapes,Three Crowns, Market Street Tavern.
Average-- Victoria, Moses Gate Tavern, The Saddle,Black Horse
Avoid (like the plague)-- Flying Shuttle, Queens, Post Office, Brittania
Cafes and Coffee Shops
All greasy's, full of grey greasy's looking into the bottom of empty cups, hoping for an answer.
The chip shop on the market togs on market street togs been there for years.Davardis in walkden overrated.Like eating a cardboard shoebox Only a shoe box would taste better.whent there one never again insult to all italian's
Great pastie and chip shop that closed in about 1968. By the side of what is no Woolworths. A weird place...fomica tables and a motley selection of upholstered armchairs (probably bought as a job lot from some redundant 3 peice suite shop).
Superb!
Pat-a-Cake and Birches.
