Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars
No they's... no we's... sorry, no skating... used to work at the white hart, which was a great place. Knew some great people while I was there... Pablo & Sue... Vicky... Sam... 'Dubbie'... Angela... the list goes on ( can't forget the beautiful Charlie though, more than my life's worth...!)
CHUFFAS IS MINT!
club R A C
RAC club is okay if u like watching fights between the local toytown gangsters. Beware tho they charge £7 to get in after 2am and they don`t serve alcohol after this time. Whats the point????
Farnworth`s only two so called "clubs" are to be avoided totally. There are idiots and bell ends galore in both and neither is what you would call a good night out. Save the £2\£3 entry fee to both and get a kebab and taxi home.
the rac in farnworth has been taken over by new management.on sat nights now playing 60 s 70 s and 80 s music.
Blightys was the place to be.I watched Martha Reeves and the Vandellas there one.
R.A.C
Rac use to be a top club, when ran by brad. Now its turned into a little hulton hide out, dj jamie knowles spinning the tunes causing more hassle then he's worth. Chuffers - not as bad as it use to be. Busters what a shit hole cant even afford a dj they have one of the barstaff playing the music.
RAC rough as chuffers, well to be honest thats bull shit. it could be a top club
Blightys was theeee place to be.
late licensed venue soon to be open in farnworth promises all the best in entertaining d.j.s fun over 25s atmosphere the only place where you will be able to enjoy haveing the piss taken out of you and yer mates.....BUSTERS
WHITE HART, KNIFE CARRYING HARD MEN THAT CAN'T FIGHT WITH THEIR FISTS. WELL HARD. RAC, WELCOMES BOTTLE THROWING CAST OFF'S FROM FREEMASON'S
local meat market spot would have to be chuffers some of the classest women
to ever grace the face of the earth a pint and a packet of crisps or even better two pints and a curry and any can be yours for the evening
or if still of the yet to shave brigade then the freemasons run by the charming landlord cyril
Icon- full of slappers who shag out given the chance. Full of young people or oldies. Full of pricks that do not take no for an answer. Musics okay depending what nite you go. If you want a night of fun Nadine Whittle will give you anything you want she is the main slapper!! Atlantis is ten times worse and i've had more fun staying in.
Chuffers, full of RAC rejects, enter at your own risk, the best looking chick I saw, had recently undergone facial reconstruction. Great if you like tattooed fat women, tattooed or fat women in general. Men fight like gladiators or so I thought, then realised none of them could go down as they were stuck to the carpet.
RAC…Rank Awful Cruddy, full of Farnworth’s untouchables of which there are plenty. Drug dealers and so called local hard men walk on water, air is full of femfresh fragrance, cheap perfume and hairspray. Drink at your own peril as I doubt it would be what it says on the bottle. Don’t park your obligatory 4 x 4 outside unless you like it blood stained with teeth impressions of the local hard men at the nights end.
Old Vets, precisely…old.
Labour club, where unemployed committee men, all want to be Local Councillors, then rise to Government, simply to join the rest of the unemployed former committee men who now run the country.
Blighty's. This club was a Cabaret Club in the 1970s that used to regularly attract the likes of Tommy Cooper, Vince Hill, et al. Prsumably when every other engagement had fell resolutely on it's arse.
need to be a few more to atract the younger people ie teenagers . so they stop causing a problembe
Chuffers.......with its sticky floors and dirty slappers
R.A.C and Chuffers are the most popular. Not many others unless you include the White Hart.
Alcoholics anomynousesllouses
No clubs as such but there is a fun club for kids on Market St
Blighty's, closed by the Puriton's in 1975.
The late great one down the side street adjacent Burtons. In its heyday there was no equal

My freinds and i had a great time. The are promoting local bands every Sat,Starting with the fantastic kerbcrawlers form bolton, can't wait.(Better beer, more space. and a lot cleaner and cheeper than mosse's).Definatly on it's way to being a great music venue.
The Flying Shuttle on Highfield Road has started having bands on, now they have got a licence (bands expected to start in October 2005).
The Moses Gate Hotel specialise in putting on tribute bands and charging a stupid amount to get in. They are srescued by the fact that the nearest pub is The Railway, which is marginally more dingy and smelly than the Moses. Currently refusing to even consider some of the best local bands, as they interfere with their run of of U2 and Abba tributes that no-one wants to see.
The White Horse at the top of Stoneclough Road have bands and acts on every Friday and Saturday. It's a very good little venue and the landlord and landlady are very enthusiastic / entertaining. Michelle behind the bar is a goddess, too. A very good night out.
The Grapes at dixon green has the best karaoke ever, The dj George is the nicest person you could meet
Moses Gate pub has a great selection of tribute bands and is well worth the £5-£6 entry fee. Go see it!
Check out the Moses Gate pub, some cracking bands from all round the country play here, top stuff. Bottled beer is advised tho as the landlord never cleans his pumps.
moses gate pub has live bands every weekend
The Royal in Farnworth has been a music venue for years now, as has the Moses Gate on the main Bolton Road. The Freemasons stopped having bands years ago, but still get asked about putting groups on. The Antelope still do bands, just down the road in Kearsley.
The Grapes do the worst karaoke anywhere. Sick bucket time.
Mosses gate
Smokies on sundays is the only place to be karaoke is always a laugh.

The Brit one of the best karaoke joints in Farnworth come and here scooby sing
fri sat or sunday its a great pub
Victoria a decent night, known locally as the flying handbag. Gets very busy later on. Kept imacculate from top to bottom, always plenty of staff.
The Royal, though it stinks of piss, sometimes have a good band or two. Dont buy the coke, it's the 35p for 3 litre stuff that the cheeky bastard landlord charges 1.80 a pint for. Barstaff are from another planet.
B&M bargains, the instore music is about as live as it gets
The Brittania, opposite the bus station. There you will find Rose on the BonTempi organ, playing gospel and military tunes, so long as they use no more than 4 octaves and can utilise the 6 chord keys.
The opne on the corner opposite the bus staion. The fat woman on the Bontempi 3 octave keyboard with chord buttons.
Zacs has live music on regularly for the under 18's and a disco every 2 weeks also for the u18's.
White Hart for loud music, The Olde Three Crowns the same.
Cinemas
The valley has a cineworld.
Rent a video and stay home. No cinemas, unless you want a trek to The Valley or Middlebrook in Horwich.
well theres global video with no world cinema section
global in the sense that its hollywood films i suppose
CINEMA SCREEN WITH ALL THE LIVE SPORTS ACTION AT......BUSTERS
well the last shut in the 70,s became a bingo hall then rotted
little short on entertainment in the evenings is farnworth unless you count the fighting
ther are a number of cinimas in bolton however thay are a fair distance to get to . farnworth needs
Devils work. The only remaining cinema constantly shows 'The Greatest Story Ever Told' and occasionaly, when the Pastor is on a mission, they show 'Witness'.
