Barnardo`s has a quality selection of other peoples unwanted crap..shopping for those on a budget. Asda has some decentish gear at a good price.Just don`t spend that giro all at once.
No Emporio Armani here, just Bon Marche, the Littlewoods reject shop and Daves Walkaround Shoes....mmm...feel the quality.
oxfam and generic charity shops or shopping with george at asda
None of any quality unless you want second best, however you could get a bargain in one of the many charity shops
local market or any of the charity shops. GREAT CHOICE, SUPERB OUTFITS
QS Fashions or as known to a local Quailty Seconds
great fashions from the late 70,s and early 80,s at bargain prices
Still have shell suits in stock
or farnworth market - 30 pairs of socks for a fiver
and a 20 pound bag of meat for a tenner
best 25 quid ever
Clothes shops in Farnworth come on Quality Seconds, market or the one near B&M's I would not call them clothes shops
Age Concern, various charity shops, in fact more charity shops than any other.
'DADS& LADS!' For every thing from a Car Coat to a Car Coat!
there are enough
The best place to go is the Market. Good quality clothes at good prices. Others include Quality Seconds, Ethel Austins, Bon Marche and numerous Charity Shops.
the top-notch high quality market!
Burtons QS (Quality Seconds)and a few smaller shops mainly on the main drag (Brackley St)
Clothes are of the Victorian variety and freely available on the market.
No need, the place is full of fashion cripples, who buy everything at tyhe overpriced charity shops, the sons of whore bitches
Trendy stuff in QS, some designer labels, some good skatewear.
Arts, crafts and such (Anything from pukka art galleries to craft shops. Trendy and twee both welcome.)
mystical gifts not bad for the unuasual
No art shops to mention although those that have opened in the past usually close due to the fact that no-one in Farnworth understands art.
anything arty closed down in 1974
anything with any design lasts about 4 months before a charity shop takes its place
KING STREET DO ARTS &CRAFTS COURSES
it trys and trys its best from a noble start to a ignoble end
once had a craft shop but closed because people kept asking where the cheese slices were
Kazza loves Gazza scrawled all over is about the nearest you'll get to art. Not forgetting the lovely patterns discarded chewing gum brings every where.
A good Photo Shop on Market Street next to Pat-a-Cake.
Any Wall in the center has some 'art' on it
framearound thats it
Devils work. Not a painting or craft in site. You are allowed to make quilts.
You must be joking. The place is full of no-good losers, who would not know art if it bit them on the arse
Farnworth Little Theatre, Cross St, opposite bus station
One shop on lower market street, pukka art.
Magazine and Comic Shops
Theres a good newsagent on Brackley Street, sells all kinds of mags, normally only seen in Smith's.
Ancient history now, but as a child I accumulated a collection of DC Comics from Farnworth Market that would now be worth several thousand pounds. I rememeber buying Adventure Comics 247 for anout 4p in about 1966.
Just newsagents really.
One selling puriton and gay mags
Lucky Star on Brackley street has the best around.
