Record Shops
solihull or coventry.
They don't do records anywhere as far as I know. Again, catching a bus or train into Coventry is the most sensible thing.
WE NEED MUSIC!!!!!!!!! i need to complain to the council about this.
NONE!!! WE NEED MOOSIC!!! AAAHHHHHHHHAAAHAAAAHAHAHAH!!! or you could just drive into cov in about 10 mins and go 2 hmv
nothing, Nowt, Nada.
Tis only a village after all, known more for Chattaways Hardware than musical mecca.
Morgam News, Co-op and the Wine cellar are probably the best, there aint much choice really! Morgam news is good because it sells magazines, loads of choclate and sweets. The wine cellar sells wine, ofcourse, beer and fags. The co-op is good as well because it also sells all of the above.
The only thing that the village has in the way of record shops must be the record for the most windows shoppers after closing hours. There are always people looking into the shop until the very early hours of the morning.
Er... pass. Although they may advertise the occasional CD on the ad board in the village there's nowhere to actually buy the damn things!!
Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars
Ceasars is a friendly club where you don't get robbed or offered drugs, don't get threatened by a drunk at the bar, where a beautiful woman doesn't get harassed, where people aren't afraid to go because they're not young enough, thin enough or pretty enough, and where the customers don't go on a drunken rampage through the town at closing time! If you're not into swinging then you don't have to visit the club, but please refrain from uninformed criticism!
railway has a kareoke once every month.
Just to give you an update on Ceasars Nightclub. New owners are stuart and Jayne. Club welcomes anyone over 18 and Saturday is only real night for swingers and they don't do nasty stuff. That happens on Fridays!
There used to be one near the crossroads leading out of Balsall-but it got closed down when they had a 'nude night'.
What is happening to the dissused library? Thought that was being turned into some sort of club for the village young 'uns to hang out. Something else that was promised in the Parish Magazine.
you are all just as young as the bbbs so u ant nothink special you balsall zoo scum
The one club, though previously known as a sixth form party venue (and I have many a good if drunken memory) is BAD BAD BAD NASTY. Has in lesser incarnations been a strip club, a swingers club, a nightclub but ahs always been a NASTY club.
Ceasers, but it's for 'swingers' only. That is to say that it's full of 50+ year olds performing nasty acts of cruelty upon each other.
once again...this is just very funny.........anyway...even if there's not, thats gotta be a good thing, cause it makes you get out of Balsall....which i think most people should...so they can see there's a little more to the world!
There was a club but there aint any more because it was a strippers club and nobody in Balsall wanted that, do you blame them?
Well there's Caesers, and that's about it. I don't actually know of anyone who goes there, anyone in their right mind would probably go elsewhere. Had about a zillion name changes but like the actual club the names don't get any better...

Ah... of course. We have a local band called the 'Fat Boys'! Oh, wait, they changed the band to the 'likely lads'. I wonder why?
I'm in a little band but we just play in garages! Nearest place I know of is the NEC in Birmingham.
The pubs around the area have been known to have live music.
hmm, i have hip-hop Dj friends in my garden.....next time i'll let ya know!
Well, there's the NEC, just down the road and you could always come to the schools assemblies and concerts!
The secluded site underneath Partco has often been used as a place to get amplification for the piddly amount of bass that can be achieved from their dirty brown Vauxhall Nova's that they have spent massive amounts on.
Someone may take their stereo out into the village if you're lucky or perhaps you can dance to the enjoyable thumping from passing cars...
