• you have GOT to have SEXY CHIPS!! its chips with mayonaize and cheese, gorgeous! best place to go for these is pizza king, across from the nile. however it can get really busy ones the pubs have closed
• Hungry Horse in Milnrow! Great food and lots of it!
• Try the Star of Bengal for a nice curry or the Punjab for a good takeaway curry.
• Star of Bengal,Halifax Rd. Omar's, Drake Street.
• Blue Diamond (Oldham Road) Excellent Chinese Restaurant After Eight, Spotland Bridge. Lovely restaurant just out of town centre. A bit special.

Pubs

• Just been to the new Chicago Rock Cafe in town, what a refreshing change from the usual, cool music, great food and cocktails to blow you mind...that bartender wasn't bad either. I would recommend anyone who loves to party to get themselves down there..
• Best pub EVER is Regal Moon!!! Nice kinda country old stylee interior, cheap drinks, nice big leather couches etc etc, is well nice. Stage Door - gay pub. The Church - well local pub, people look at you like you are an alien if you arnt a regular.
• Woolpack, Drake Street. Brown Cow, Milkstone Road. Highland Laddie, Falinge. Cloverdale, Entwistle Road.
• FLYING HORSE, CITIZENS INN ,ODDFELLOWS,ROBIN HOOD.

• Hollies Cafe - Drake Street, do fantastic food too!
• Bar 5, The Esplanade.....Coffee/Alchol/Food

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
