  • stone steps down to the beach - be prepared to get wet at night tho
  • Well dudes head to daymer Bay in the summer there are phat beach partys, tribal beats and lots of fires, is a great to place to hook up with fellow surfers and members of the opposite sex, just watch out for the loafer wearing people who call u "pikey" as u actually can surf, instead of just lookin trendy! Also Pentire point is breath taking if u can be botherd to walk up to it. A trip to rock at night is well worth it to watch lots of under age kids stumble aound from the Mariners. And car park in rock is cool for hooking up with mates and people u have met. Polzy beach and Juice bar always good but not as good as it used to be thanks to a fire ban and any fires will result in a freindly police man or fire engine poopin ur party! and Fins cafe is good untill they start to have a minimum 5 pound charge to get in.
  • the beach is the place to hang out, wet suit on and surfing the spectacular regular atlantic waves till the sun sets
  • THE CHURCH BY DAYMER HA HA HA
  • The Galleon cafe (on the left of the beach!) is a cool place to hang out and meet people.
  • Camp sites, people seem to come and go all night but only the ones a)with no car or b)with no I.D seem to live there, but it can be quite a good place for meeting people sometimes.
  • Up on the rocks overlooking the bay. You can park at the Hungrey surfer and chill on the rocks all day watching the surfers. There's the path from robbie loves camp site down to Polzeath wher you always meet loads of drunk people trying to get home in the pitch black.
  • Center of Polzeath at night, where all the young Trevs congregate as they will not get sereved in any pubs or off licences.
  • Pentire Point is the place to watch the sun set.
  • Te campfires on the beach and at Robbie Loves. The path from the camp site to the beach is always full of drunk people trying to get home in the dark.

What is Knowhere?

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!

If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.

Have Your Say...

The Knowhere Guide depends entirely on real users for information. Please feel free to join in.

You can tell us more about Polzeath. This is also the method to use if you want to correct some of the information already here. (But please remember you're not mailing the person who actually wrote whatever-it-is.)

You can use the add an event form to tell us about events happening in Polzeath.

If you are unhappy with any of the content on this page, turn on the flags.

Or, if you'd just like to leave a message for other users of this site, take a look at The Knowhere Board (handy if you're just trying to get in touch with someone).
