THE VILLAGE INN, TOP TOTTY
One left , i think . Can't remember what it's called this week .
The rest have been burned down.
BIPS!! duhh, shfts, welfare club annd OMG exeter community club WOW
since the great fire of occy rd (the welfare) i believe they are openung a new night club and naming it the after life. Strange thats what i thought most of the women who went there were in
sorry to burst ut bubble every1 cus life is no more!! i think someone relly dont want it there cus thats the 2nd time. STORM aint 2 bad, cus im there :D
Storm nightclub...............Otherwise known as Foreigner Central!
i never enjoyed clubs in corby u have to go milton keynes to have half a night if not leicester colville is the best bet
Corby clubs, pure cheese. What more can I say a great place to go if you want to be groped by a kosovan or west sided by a chav! dress code is either burberry caps and gold that turns your neck green or kosovan clobber greased with oil!!!!!
well ders life...dats the newsest club owt...n dats like the best club in corby...realli gd though...onli fiver 2 gt in...u shuld go der 4 a nite owt bt if u wnt a realli gd nite owt go kettering or peterbough or liester or sumfing!
The Open Hearth have a live bands every week
bar code was ok gone now everywhere else is pants go leicster on the bus
willows arts centre george street willow room lots of different bands hiring and promoting local bands
For the Trendy's its Vision, Maddisons, Stars and Life and Storm.
life pub/night club.the bouncers are being very heavy handed so be carefull, best bit is they are getting away with it.
If you want a CHEESY night where they play the song superman go to storm.Though the best thing to do is get on the bus to leicster (go to mosh), or rail bus to Kettering (which ain't much better but at least there is the price of wales). Failing that just load up on drugs and watch the idiot box,
raven... stars...
LIFE: We were all looking 4ward 2 the old works/escape reopening as life but were sorely disappointed. Escape got 2 the pint of being quite good when it closed and I thought Life would be just as good, but no. It's a carbon copy of any jumped up studenty club you find in the likes of Northampton, Nottingham etc.. Boring! Now i'm all for change but a bit of originality please!
And what's with the dress code? no t-shirts or ripped jeans? what's that all about? get with it you tw*ts, every designer shop around the country sell ripped jeans but they're too trampy for your poxy club? which is ran by questionable management and even more questionable bouncers.
Which brings me to another point, no smoking or drinking on the dancefloor? sorry i thought i was in a nightclub (designated place for late night drinking and smoking)not the playground at school!
we'll see how long these dodgy rules last and we'll see if the bouncers continue to be this strict. i won't even mention the decoration cuz i'd b here for ages.
maybe it'll grow on me? or maybe i'll just go to a decent club outside of corby with a bit of originality a choice of rooms and some decent and well known djs.
STARS: alright if you want to be groped by old men or harassed by asylum seekers.
STORM: good on the old pulse, it started off sh*t but when it opened as storm (coupled with the demise of escape) it was actually alright for a domestic night out. winning combination of cheap drinks and multiple rooms (and the music's not bad either).
MARTINES: tino's used to b wicked on a thursday and it's gettin good again, i wouldn't bother any other nite tho.
Stars and Escape is the sort of place that fits well into an inbred town like Corby with its freakshow youth coupling to produce the spaz culture that makes corby the burnt out wheeley-bin of the world.
stars is cool. cheesy music on fridays and as it seems golden oldies on saturdays. escape is soon 2 reopen "WOOHOO". new pub LIFE there 2. not bn in but looks nice from the outside. vision is a schoolkids club now. daz, ur losin it mate, not as gd as u used 2 b. and storm, LETS JUST NOT EVEN GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STORM SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sound haus in northampton
storm, vision, n stars,
WELL BIT OF THE LINCOLN THEY HAVE THERE VERY OWN HALL WHICH THEY RENT CHEAP (NO ROOF) £10 A YEAR I THINK :s
The rock is brill so is the shire, everybody knows everybody looks out for each other and the barmaids in the rock are wicked11 (ANGELA AND NATALIE)
There is the willows theatre wich is great. Once a month ther's a rock gig with cover/tribute bands. But even better than that are the gigs at the raven.
vision and pulse banging
Escape currently closed due to an asbestos scare, Stars still open, and picking up again - witness some of the worst karaoke talent in the country. Storm is now on 3 floors which is pretty good, and open till 3am. Vision, well lets not go there. I went once recently and thought i'd walked in to junior disco night.
ha ha bips what a joke
you've got a choice of three, vision-full of fighting youths, storm-about the best at the moment, stars-over 25s yeah right! benn going there since i was 19, but its crap since they shut the other side (escape)
storm but it can be a little borin if you go every week though.
Storm is the best place to be, they can tell straight away if youa re old enough or not!
Storm,Seymourz,Visi0n,Starz, Escape
storm in corby is the best nightclub. Its small but its a good laff wiv ur mates although you could i could almost tell you wot song they r gonna play even before they play it cos they play the same set every week. Also if you wanna watch sum scenes from rocky then storm is the place cos there are more fights down there than n e thing else.
Stars is alrite is you want to pick up a ganny and escape is full of people that shouldnt be allowed to vote! Storm is alrite but too many steps when your drunk. If you want a decent night out go out of town. We need more quailty clubs not more crap ones which are own by Lord Bip.
starrs, stormin it
the sanctuary rules forget escape, storm and silly excuse of a night club vision hardcore will never die,
Storm. Because I'm yet to try out anywhere else.
escape is where the remarkably young patrons go to have a good time! storm is really good especially the doorstaff who r friendly n cute!!
ESCAPE, STARS ,VISON ,BAR CODE seymores
Escape, the only decent club in the whole of Corby! Theres always storm too and vision but they dont compare. Escape is brilliant at times, i do admit you have to be pissed to have a good time but once your in there the atmosphere is wicked and as much as you wouldnt believe it in corby it is well friendly! All the girls have a right good natter in the toliets and borrow each others make-up and hairbush's. i recommend it to anyone visiting corby, go to escape for ok music and a good dance.
ESCAPEis the bollocks. people can call it a shit hole but it is a good place to meet up wiv ur mates and get STEAMIN!!!! it doesnt matter where you are because you wont remember in the morning **
You could go bips and have a fight, or maybe storm for some reason i cant at the moment fafom.
channel 2 was cool for rockers, too many young idiots, open hearth used to be pretty descent foer live bands
vision under 16z!
i liked the venue always being able to sit and chat to frankie and sox on the seats in the foyer, miss you frank
if u wana get glessed or buggered go to bips
for the teenie boppers escape is the shit ! starz for the rest of corby
morgans & vision & the works (not the crap like rafters in devon)
The clubs in corby may not be much to look at but they are a good place to go and pull the lads!!!!!
vision,escape,stars,morgans.........
Bip owns all the main attractions, the best being Alton Towers ( Stars ) £5 to get in and all the scary rides are free. I have to say though, they are always full, if only by Remarkably young patrons mostly wanting to prove how hard they are.
Vision and Escape, both good in different ways.
GET A ROCK CLUB, NO NOT THE ONE ON MONDAYS AT BARCODE, I MEAN A PROPER FULL ON HEAVE FUCKIN' ROCK BAR, YOU'LL MAKE LOADS IN CORBY WITH ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bips, Escapes whatever you call this place now. What an absolute shit hole. Full of closed minded , right wing industrialist rednecks. Right out of the trailer park!!! What a fucking shithole - about as bad as the City itself. "Wankers!!"
The Time Tunnel, a.k.a. the road into Corby. Step back in time and visit the time tunnel, or why not sample our fizzy piss at the Time Has Stood Still bar.
(dress code observed, Celtic tops, ginger fright wigs etc etc)
Morgans, Madisons, Escape, Vision and some others that I have visited but can't remember there names once I have had a few there all good some times people can get carried away but thats just the drink.
Pants. Mince and Gash. Whenever I come out of there, I feel overwhelmed and compelled with the urge to go to Ibiza and have it decidedly large. Also, to order a mince burger and throw up hoc all the way down Occupation stagerring into the middle of the road warbling on aboot the flour o' scotland, oor wullie, and wallaces betrayal by the english grommit ya bassa. Strange. Must be the Corby air. Ya bassa's!
the village inn my dads pub (hehe) an morgan or madison which was fommally known as the pulse or la post!! names these days
MADISONS MORGANS the old wine bar/pulse....just had a revamp..looks great, even got a members only vip lounge well impresive....OPEN Wed for Kids Disco 7pm-10pm..... Thurs 9.30-02am for House and Garage.,,,, Friday / Sat/ 10pm-02am.,,,Sun 10pm-01am..all VK Bottles are a £1
Here's ur basic guide to Corby clubs. ESCAPE/STARS/H2O- Escape is definately the best club in town! The music is ok, a mix of cheesy pop and hard house hits from days gone by, such as children of the night ( a classic, dj flavours and many more.H2O is a more serious affair playing bangin house music blended wiv popular dance hits and balearic beats. stars is ok 4 the oldies I s'pose! VISION(AKA MARTINES) is the same old dive but with different wallpaper! Look out 4 the golden oldies, 14 year olds , tramps and druggies. MULLIGANS, MORGANS, MORRISONS, WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!! Haven't been yet but i'm sure it'll still b the tiny sweat box the Pulse always was. MY ADVICE- unless u r an escape regular and know EVERYONE, don't bother with anywhere else and go Passion.
Morgans is now open..Hurrah!! It's about time there was somewhere other than that Flea pit on Occupation. The good thing is, it's too small to attract any trouble.
THE OLD La-Poste / Pulse WILL BE AS FROM THE 09 NOV 10 THE ALL NEW AND IMPROVED MADISONS / MORGANS SO SHAKE UR BUTT DOWN TO WHERE ITS AT.......ROCKINGHAM RD, CORBY
Escape is good when u have had a few too many ' I am the Corby Boy dont mess wiv me'
Clubs for the under 15's then clubs for the over 18's unless ur in 1 of these u cannot go out!!! Unless u sneak about!!!! No gigs near here either!!
Now there's a NEW club in CORBY! Well it certainly looks different - VISION is now what used to be known as Bip's in George Street.! Go there and go there NOW!!!!
Ok thats all I have to say - oh yeh - its wicked!
byeee
Has to be The Embassy on a Thursday night, especially when the new romantic
thing kicked in. Also a big mention to Bips when it was down the village.
Bar Code, used to have an alternative nite, dont think it does nemore, the Raven/Game Bird has some alternative stuff (battle of the bands etc)
DONT GO TO ESCAPE....THE BOUNCERS WILL KNOCK YOU ABOUT A BIT,,WELL A LOT ACTUALLY,,
DO GO TO THE PULSE,,FRIENDLY STAFF,,GREAT ATMOS
Escape, recently voted the UK´s 7th best Super Club, is going places. After a recent review by Boy George in "Muzik" (Feb 2001) magazine, plans are in place for Scott Bond (DJ/Owner of Gatecrasher, Sheffield) to promote his new Gay night "Ministry of Drag" twice monthly (Escape,1st and 3rd Fridays of the month).Price will be 10 pounds on the door and following acts include Lisa Lashes, Jeremy Healy, Boy George.
The clubs in Corby are awful. These places are in a timewarp, they dont care about what people want, that its the year 2001.For instance Escape, the new superclub , what a joke. They think they can throw a lick a paint over the walls and bring in a couple of new chairs and we,ll be sold by it.Im a local DJ(thats a proper DJ) and tried to take a new underground trance sound to their manager and tell him that thousands of people are leaving Corby every week to find this type of dance scene. But unsurprisingly he wasn,t interested ,they only care about how many people are in and how much they drink. No wonder there is so much trouble in these places. You cant satisfy us with comercial dance crap, the rest of the world has moved on and were being left behind.SOS
i personally think that the clubs in corby are not as good as they are made out to be! unless you have loads of drink and cannot remember the nite then it seems good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if you really wanna go to a top club save your money and go passion in coalville!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
STARS - Scary!! (even for a kick-boxing ex-champion)Comes under various different names so be careful not to be duped. Very frightening, guarenteed fight fest. More Irn Bru based Alco pops here than ANYWHERE in the world. Plenty of taxis tho' for a quick escape!!
Escape:- ocupation road, the pulse, bips
Hello Corby, I have been up to Corby for the first time in two years and was
well impressed with Escape, what a difference to the Corby Night life scene.
London clubs are good, but Escape is the the best in the area.
Escape is meggaaaaa, best yet in Corby.
Escape is worth checking out, it's the first time real money has been spent on
a nightclub in Corby, with a decent sound system.
SHAFTS.
The Pulse---better than Bips!!
Bip's (MArtines) is actually, I think, one of the best nite clubs around - not that there's many in corby! It is always extremely busy and after a few cheap drinks downstairs in page three you can get up stairs (on a friday) for three pound instead of five! If you are looking for a great night out you should definately stay in the town and start the night off with page three then venture upstairs to Bips to party on until the early house of the morning!!!
THE CLUBS ARE GETTING BETTER, THERE ARE ATLEAST FIVE NIGHT CLUBS SO THERE IS ABIT OF VARIETY, THE PULSE IS ITS NEWEST ADDITION, ITS ALRIGHT, ALTHOUGH IT IS ABIT SMALL CAN'T REALLY WALK AROUND SO I FOUND THAT I SPENT MORE MONEY ON DRINKS, THATS NOT A BAD THING THOUGH.
Bips Nightclub is now in the town centre George St.
Friday night is a great night out at the new BIPS, George St Corby,
get there, drink, dance, party, and wow what a hangover on Saturday,
but never mind, one week to recover till next weeks crazy party happenings.
Martines is no longer, It`s now BIPS Nightspot, worth checking out especially
on Friday Nights, look out for Ian Lapsley, Great DJ with a supberb variety of music
The Club is now Run by Glen & Tamala Wetherell.
The Works (better known as Bips)is OK,the DJs good and so is the music played. 'The Pulse' which has just openned on 5/12/98 is surpose to be good. 'Martins' which is small.
Bips and Martines. Dire places. However, when you do stumble into a blinding night at either club, and this has happened to me a few times, the sense of gratefullness and well being derived seems to make up for the years of sensory abuse they have imparted on me. Also, the problems with going to these clubs only seems to arrive upon leaving the establishment. The Riot vans in the road outside are purely decorational. When the action kicks off, which it usually does, these cardboard coppers seem loathe to acknowledge the fights let alone do anything about them. So upon leaving a Corby club, RUN to a TAXI, or just RUN. The violence is as random as D-Day. Your best definitely is Reflections, Kettering. Or Coalville ( can't remember the name of the club but it gets proper Dj's like dead Tony DeVit).
Okay now we have it....once a month Red Eye promotions from the town hold a mega Dance Night. This features locals DJ's and is the latest opening club in the town. Till 3 am. MUST BE CHECKED OU.....Call the Festival Hall box office on 01536 402233 to find out when the next one is. There is also Bips and Martines if you want to stick to the floor or hang about with kids.
The Corby clubs are crap. The Works is rough and nasty, Martines is not much better. Anywhere else isn't worth even touching. Better off going to Reflections in Kettering.
Most older people (21 upwards) go to 'Martines' which is a bit tackey but a good laugh if you've had quite a few drinks. <
The best club in Corby used to be 'Bips' about 4 years ago - it's now been refurbished and is known as 'The Works' - it's okay but attracts quite a lot of kids. Point of information -- it was the "Works" many years ago... long before Bip (who happens to be a good friend of my brother and ex-sister-in-law).

RAMP ROCK HAVE SOME WICKED BANDS PLAYIN
The Open Hearth and White Hart have plenty of local bands, Irish Centre lots of Irish folk bands if yer into that sort of thing. Channel 2 was the place to go till it closed 5 or 6 years ago. Willow Rooms have had a few moderately big bands over the last couple of years. Sadly, like with everything else, its a trip out of town to find anything half decent.
open hearth has live music on fridays sometimes, but it gets a bit cramped and you can't get to the bar
get the Leicester bus on an head to the shed or fanclub or the charlotte, there's loads more as well. open hearth on a friday can be good, often have live bands.
Getting better... The Open Hearth Fridays, Festival hall, Speedway, White Hart, The Pluto, The Kingfisher sundays, Madisons all do live bands now as the scene grows... watch out for Corbys best band The Morning After (www.themorningafter.tk)
The Piano Bar attached to the Raven Hotel, showcases local bands and does a good pint

The Piano Bar, part of the Raven Hotel is a nice atmosphere and showcases local bands

by leah cowie n josie docherty
the CORBY BANDSTAND UP THE TOWN
The Festival Hall, or Rockingham Speedway. For better bands, try the Soundhaus in Northampton.
open hearth, maybe white heart and if your really lucky piano bar
The Open Hearth have the odd bit on, but there's just too many covers bands doing Corby. What the town really needs is a proper alternative music venue that would showcase all genres of musical talent.
The closest thing to which is the open mic nights in surrounding villages.
The one I'd most strongly reccomend is the first Thursday of every month at the Green Dragon in Brigstock. A good mix of acts and styles, and a good collection of talent.
west glebe park! YEAH RITE u can sing on the street corners wiv ur mates and thats about it **
The open hearth, the white hart, the shire (soon) basically anywhere corbys best band (THE MORNING AFTER) play. go see em, there quality.
Rockingham Motor Speedway will start holding music events in 2003.
Hopefully Rocky Speedway soon, but until then, check out the pubs (Raven Hall, Open Hearth).
NONE, THATS THE POINT, PEOPLE LIKE ME HAVE TO BE FORCED TO SIT IN OUR ROOMS LISTENIN' TO A HALF-ARSED CD BECAUSE THERE IS NOWHERE THAT HOLDS GOOD ROCK GIGS SINCE THEY STOPPED THE "ROCK SKOOL" AT THE RAVEN HALL!!!!!!0
The Nags Head. Sadly no more, just like Ivanhoes in Hull, another music venue has disappeared.
Wilbarston
i hope your having a laugh live music in corby
ok you might get the odd band at the raven hall if yr lucky
The Nag's back in the late eighties. I also remember seeing the pete cooper clarke telecaster twiddly widdly band supported by the disciples who seemed to tune up for about 20 mins at about 400 watts a piece, shout into the mike, feedback and fretbuzz to a syncopated snare drum and hub cap back beat and then fuck off and snarl at the punters for the rest of the night getting wedged up on fizzy piss, and teetering around on their high heels, playing imaginary guitars to the solo in jump till the lights came on and we were all thrown out on our arses into a major league scrap and taxi scrum in the car park. And you didn't even have to pay to get in!!!!! That's what I call a night out. Class!
Used to be the Nags head bar type front lounge kind of thing sort of like innit. Back in 87/88 when Pete Cooper Clarke used to twang his telecaster with Rick Ken Dodd on the flute pissed as a rat minced. Some good musicians got up in those days, Frank fretbuzz no tone Tierney, Gary high buttock Grant & Snitch twoddle twoddle Bass line and Joe pouting and licking his guitar Murphy. Wow, that was top notch. Thanx guys.
NOTHING MUCH BUT RAGING SPEEDHORN COME FROM cORBY AND THEY'RE WICKED
The nags head, pete cooper and his fender telecaster blues band with rick dodd on flute pissed out of his head falling around making fartin noises into the mike. Great.
Corby Festival Hall, The Stranglers for only 35p entry has to been a bargin.
Also as we had crap venues, Franny Lagan's infamous coach trips to Leicester,
Northampton and the Legendary Nottingham Rock City. Best moment must have been
when I went up town for a quick drink with my mate, and got press ganged into
going to see Hazel O'Connor (Icehouse supported), got back and had left on my
parents faulty boiler, which blew up, they never knew about it for years.
the nags
Raven Hall
In 2001 Runrig, Texas, Primal Scream and Teenage Fanclub will be playing at the Highland Gathering as part of the "New Scottish Music Inititive",as announced by Donald Dewar last week in the Scottish Parlament.
glastonbury is to far to walk unless ive had about 50 eccys
Open Hearth plays local bands
corby bandstand in town
raven hotel barcode theme pub
If you like live music try check out a local band called Whitehouse. They play pub type cover numbers 5 piece band (keyboards). They play some good tracks a bit loud and they slowly get steamedand wobble about. Excellent singer "Crags" good mimic.
mcdermid hall...civic centre
The formally known Mr Q's has been refurbished and is now named The Raven Hall, which is available for rent for stuff like weddings etc... It has been extremly cared for and the furniture is actually quite nice. It must be a good place because the guy that one the millenium radio 1 competition decided to use this hall as a place to have it in!!
out the back of the pluto!!!
Erm...the fesitval Hall
Channel 2 (next to The Nags Head). It's a Mosh Pit. Grunge, Rock, Deth Metal e.t.c. It's actually one of the most civilised places in Corby. And has some extremely sexy and intelligent young women and poetic/romantic young men. These are however outnumbered by the sad people. It's an alright place. Beats getting your head kicked in.
Corby is home to the Greenbelt Festival, in Deene Park, a massive Christian get-together. Other venues include the Festival Hall and... that's it really.
Cinemas
we dont even av a cinima so how we ment to go on the hot sweaty smelly bus for an hour na id ratther just leave it thanks!!!
a million years ago we had a picture hall, showing the same films ova n ova again!!!!!!!!
Ha, there was once upon a time, now all there is is an empty space.
HAVE TO GO TO KETTERING, BUT LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE....A CHANCE TO KICK THE SHEEP-SHAGGERS HEADS IN AGAIN !
Thankfully the cinema has at last been demolished. The last film they showed there was King Kong . The original.
Then it was turned into a Laser-gun type thingy, where people ran around in the dark shooting each other. Why people paid money to do this when they could have gone out and got the real thing is anyone's guess.
For years the empty shell of this place sat atop the multi storey car park, resembling the deformed big brother of those corrugated lean-to garden tool stores that you stick on the side of your shed, with a sad old raven motif.
tht 1 up top of library, dint it have a laser dome thing 2 of am i remembering summit from a dream?
nearest cinema is KETTERING!
Corby Festival Hall, showing repeats off ITV2
nearest 1 is ketterin bt dats still ova priced ..n ya hav 2 gt a bus if u dunt drive..we shuld hav a pics in corby..we used wit 1 cinema pml
NONE, THERE IS A RUBBISH ABDONNED 1 WHICH TOPS ESTATES RNT DOIN ANYTHIN WID, SOME1 SHOOT THEM PLEAZ
Corby's cinema was closed some time ago and I don't think we will get another one any time soon.
I have to drive to Kettering or Peteborough to see a film.
I'm sure there was one, a long time ago. My daddy used to tell me stories about it and how it was great and everyone in the town used to go there and have a wonderful time. Mind you, he used to say there was a decent bus service as well so i never believed him.
What happened to the bowling and cinema complex that was supposed to be built by Aldi? instead you gotta go all the way to kettering!
corby's is shut down, it was tiny anyway, kettering is the closest.
odeons gd
northampton warner bros is te best
cinemaz? lmfao, There w0z 1 but dat g0t kn0cked down cuz de council r trampy n cnt afford 2 keep it open =)
We need a cinema, we shouldnt have to go all the way to sheepsville to watch a film

THE CIVIC OH YEA I GO N WATCH
We don't have a cinema anymore :( Kettering is closest, the bastards.
well the cinema we have is the one in kettering and if there is any thing good on then i wud travel to see it
nearest 1 kettering!!! -they r sheepshaggers!!!!
The Willows Arts Centre shows older films, go to the Odeon in Kett for new releases.
No cinema, in my opinion the nearest decent cinema is in Peterborough.
I dnt think Corby's old cinema had a single chair that matched with anotha: they were all nicked out of different skips.
a 3 day journey involvin 10 buses to the odeon in kettering.....
We used to have our own Cinema, but know we only have the sign. Our neighbouring town Kettering has a Cinema but then again they have a different Council.
cinemas WHAT cinemas, got a board that says one to be built up by earlstree. Still waiting 4 years later.
Jerry Lewis was opened by The Man Himself way back in the seventies. I remember him being a bit of a primadonna and all oilly. At the time it was state of the art, ash trays in the back of the seat in front of you, high wasted trousered ushers with ginger fright wigs and freckles with bay city rollers scarves tied around their wrists and celtic tops on. Top Notch.
Kettering Odeon
Naff all - nearest is Ketering, NO REGULAR TRANSPORT!!!!
The Jerry Lewis Cinema. See worst building section for detailed analysis.
The Jerry Lewis twin cinema - When Grease opened I remember the double doors
collapsed from the sheer weight of the large queue which went up to Littlewoods

After the refurbishment of the old Talkies Cinema, there are plans for Ewan McGregor to officially reopen the complex on the 13th of June, 2001
The Odeon in Sheep-shagger land is the best around here but is outrageously over-priced.All the Corby Cru should get discount for having 2 put up with the dodgy Kettering-ers using that damn baa-ing accent!!!!!
The local flea pit died many years ago! Is there anything new in the offing?
tops got rid of ours by the rates he charges
odeon
No cinema! are you surprised? We were ment to be getting one at the back of matalan but, as always, it fell through.
Civic Theatre has a small screen with video projector. Thats it!!

Odeon cinema in kettering is excellent but it is a bit overpriced
main street security camera's (most wanted)
There isn't one. There hasn't been for years. The nearest decent one untill recently was in Peterborough, Northampton or Leicester, all of which are 25 miles away. Kettering now has a multiplex. But Kettering doesn't like Corby.
We don't even have one of these anymore. The Festival Hall and Theatre sometimes put films on.
"The Laser Drome!!" sounds good? Capacity now about 50 people! Glorious mono sound, I went once and swore I would never return, feeling as if I'd just visited a dodgy Soho joint!
