Food
Mac's, KFC, and the vale pub, some nice food there. But the best out of them all is Vang Lang's near Debdale Park,you can not fault the service or the food!!!!!

Not much in Gorton... McDonalds, The Banstand (steak house), Indian Restaurant on Hyde road. Take aways: Yummies, Van Lang Chippy, Gorton Chop Suey.
Pubs
The Pineapple a decent spot??? Surely someone having a laugh there!!!!!!!!
Update OCT 2003...Midland Pub demolished, the last remaining asset of the REAL Belle Vue and the Jennisons on Hyde Rd gone. Only Pub built by them thats left now is the Garibaldi
the mount, end of darras road, great place for a guy fawkes, all the "inebriated" irish lads would always throw a few bob for the guy
The pinapple is deadly, the only decent one is The Vale

Pineapple or the Vale Cottage are decent pubs, also Belle Vue Dogs good for a night out!
