• The Apollo, ok so it isn't in Gorton but it is on Hyde Rd 2 minutes in a car from Gorton.

• Showcase-I'd get the train/bus their tho or leave your pitbull in the car.
• I work at Showcase, the prices are high but you cannot say that the food is rubbish. The ice cream is the best!!
• showcase cinema, hyde road.
• Showcase Cinemas up the road in Belle Vue. Its okay, if not a bit overpriced. They have just opened a tiny bar inside - and thats it by way of attraction to it. There are Burger King, Deep Pan Pizza, and an Indian takeaway nearby it too.
• The Showcase in Belle Vue is OK but the prices are a bit on the expensive side. It's a nice enough place though, it's clean and has some good films on which is always good for a cinema.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
