The Best Things

• You know near enough everyone there
• The people SunnyBrow Park in the 60's Sacred Heart Pantomime's Sacred Heart Youth Club Gorton Tub (swimming baths)
• Easy to get into Manchester Town Centre. Most people know each other.
• Gortons not that great but it does have some good things going for it. It's home to many nice people (and some not so nice ones) and has a nice park (don't go there after dark though) swimming baths, the dog track and the Aces.
• Gorton market, Sunnybrow Park
• THE HISTORY, MOST PEOPLE I SPEAK TO CANT UNDERSTAND WHY GORTON ISNT IN KNOWHERE, THE NAME AND PICTURES CAN BE FOUND ON OTHER SITES AND THE KNOWHERE BOARD WOULD BE A GREAT PLACE TO FIND PEOPLE AND FRIENDS IN AND FROM GORTON. IT HAS SOME AMAZING HISTORY JUST WITH BELLE VUE AND THE BELLE VUE ACES SPEEDWAY JUST TO MENTION A FEW.

The Worst Things

• Scallies on mount road and who try to sneak into films at showcase, just stop it its annoying and shit. haven't you got anything better to do in your lives
• SunnyBrow Park (now)! The fact that the local council have now shut Gorton Tub (our only swimming baths!!)
• Mount Road Need i say more? Having not lived in Gorton for 5 years but still come back to Gorton from abroad to see mates every so often, has gone very dodgy in the past few years, wouldnt walk down there after 5pm.
• Street Crime / scallies taking over the neighbourhood.
• The crime rate and the scallies that hang out in Debdale Park. The fair that came didn't do too well because people had their bags robbed and stuff. The police do have plain clothes cops that patrol the area but as it's mainly kids causing the trouble there's not an awful lot they can do.
• Smelly Gorton Brook in Sunnybrow park
• I CANT THE FAIR WAS ONLY IN DEBDALE PK FOR A WEEK.
