• Graham Massey- head honcho with dance group 808STATE. 'Mick' from Brookside, the one that owned the Pizza place!
• Badly Drawn Boy, known to some as Scribbly Bad Boy. Most of the Twisted Nerve Acts (Mum and Dad, Alfie). A lot of DJ types like Elliot Eastwick (Paper Records) and Richard Hector-Jones (Bugged Out). The Doves. I believe Kermit from Black Grape, Shaun Ryder and a bassist from a prominent eighties Mancunian indie band (go on, see if you can guess who) have all been sighted getting in the Boots in the precinct, can't think why. Eeeh, Rock and Roll - it's not all glamour and doing models up the bum you know... Oh yeah, The Beegees lived on Keppel Road as nippers. And Dangermouse lives on Albany Road (Cosgrove Hall animation studio, home to Chorlton and the Wheelies amongst others)
