- Red Square
- The cut off stump in the middle of the park. Ideal for skinning up as long as you are facing 180 degrees away from the playground, otherwise you'll be spotted by the camera... tho no-one ever does anything, and people pick mushrooms in the park anywayz so its cool.
- seems to be round the park of aldi's facing owens chippy - kiddies sit there in the pouring rain!?! also the park, and not forgetting somerfields and kwickies car park for the boy racers - i hate walking past there.
- The antiques shop steps opposite the park. Meant to be a bus-stop but funny how there are never any buses!
- If your too young for the pubs the park seems the place to hang .
- Ah yes that statute of the farmer s******* the sheep! It goes to show the mentality of the area. Thats the reason why I moved out after only 6 months.
- Always seems to be a 'boy-racer' contingent in the car park opposite Somerfield.
- Festival Square - locally known as Red Square because it's red brick - on the benches surrounding the statue of the farmer and his sheep.
- Benches outside Woolies, or main Post Office on a Friday and Saturday night

What is Knowhere?
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
